The Captain's View

Enjoy the spectacular ocean vista in the Captain's View. Located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown, our home is the perfect place to spend your Kodiak vacation . The house is perched atop a cliff overlooking the channel offering an up-close experience to the daily activities of the local marine life, as well as, boat and seaplane traffic. Our property comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests with ample parking.
Spacious living areas with two levels of decks and all the bedrooms have channel views. Bedrooms options include queen and king beds, TV's, closets, sitting areas, spaces to work, and openings on to decks.

We had a wonderful time at Captain’s View—we were in Kodiak for our daughter’s wedding and the house was perfect for family dinners and entertaining. It is in walking distance of downtown Kodiak and one of our favorite coffee places. The hosts were responsive and easily contacted. We highly recommend this house!

Beautiful place to stay! Right on the main channel into Kodiak harbor. The kids watched boats and sea planes for a long time. The house is very nice inside too. Great fluffy carpet. Very clean. We used 5 bedrooms for our 3 generation stay.

Wow…. The properties are fantastic. Quite frankly my history with VRBO has been hit and miss so I don’t traditionally leave reviews but this stay was different. My family and I stayed in the blue house before engaging in the MTNs for a week and the red house upon return. Our stay was extraordinary! The views are very nice and feel is all there. We were just looking for a place that we could relax book ending our activities and got a lot more. Quite frankly already looking for excuses to go back.
