What you see is what you get!

Kitchen well equipped, appliances good, clean and neat. Noise from the highway outside is extreme, making it difficult to sleep at night, otherwise had a very nice stay for the month…walking the beach and watching the turtles. Might suggest to the owner a set of muffin tins for the kitchen and chair Sox (to protect your floors from scratches). Thanx,

The Best!

Five Stars – Perfect Beachfront Getaway!This beachfront condo on the North Shore of Oahu was the perfect escape! The condo was nicely updated and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The secluded beach just steps away was a dream—perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and even spotting turtles and colorful fish. It was so peaceful and relaxing, a great spot to unwind and enjoy the beauty of Hawaii. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to soak in the quiet charm of the North Shore. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic beachfront accommodation

The beachfront penthouse was a fantastic place to stay. We really enjoyed the sunrises on the balcony and seeing the massive sea turtles on the beach! Everything we needed was only a short drive away. The place was clean and nicely renovated. Lots of interesting things to do nearby also. Thanks for a great stay!

Appearances can be deceiving

Condo was so beautifully decorated and looked great on the VRBO site but unfortunately there were some major flaws. The bedroom is located right beside a very busy highway with constant noise. The window was not functional so we could not adjust to close slats along with the blind not working. The mattress was extremely soft. AC portable unit smelled musty. Therefore we couldn’t use it. The hide a bed mattress left coil impressions on your back. Ended up sleeping on the floor on the mattress the last three nights of our five night stay as this was the best option. Too bad because the condo was so lovely and being on the beach was a great location. Owner was difficult to communicate with. We didn’t get any response to our message requesting info about the unit while we were there. A Welcome book with a list of suggested attractions and great places to eat or buy food would have been helpful.

A fantastic apartment. Very clean and up-to-date. Could use a higher wattage on the living room portable A/C but otherwise AMAZING!!! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location

Overall we had a great time staying at this property. It was clean, in a quiet side of the island and had great locals that were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Although there was some construction going on we did not hear it and were not impacted by it which was amazing. There were a few minor issues but we were able to navigate around them. The unit does not have central air instead it has two portable AC units. One venting out onto the balcony, and the other which is in the bedroom vents into the hall closet by the front door. This creates a rather hot entry way and common area /bathroom Which as you can imagine made it uncomfortable. Our way around this was only turning on the ac at night and keeping the front door open/screen door closed. This helped keep the venting warmth down. Also the mattress topper was very very soft so it was not the most comfortable if you like more of a firm mattress but it was not bad just a personal preference of sleeping firmness. I give this an 8/10 and will be booking it again for future trips to the island.

Perfect location

We stayed here for 6 nights for our anniversary. It was in a great location to see everything that we wanted to see. So much to do we loved the North shore so many beaches. The condo was right on the beach with everything we needed to cook our own meals

Perfect Week

I wasn’t aware that this location would be so spectacular. It’s so close yet far enough away from all the craziness of the tourist traps. With phenomenal views and one of the cleanest beaches I’ve ever been to. I could not be happier with the time we spent there.

Location and beach are stellar. Unit very good. Building an eyesore.

There are some really amazing things about this rental. But, there are some things that you need to know, as well. However, this review site will not allow me to leave my full comments. That’s unfortunate because I really wanted to tell you guys all about it. VRBO, please give reviewers more space for this very important part of your app.

Heaven on earth

It was a beautiful stay! Sunrises were amazing, beach was perfect, loved seeing the turtles, perfect location away from the city but close to hikes, PCC, the temple, and an easy enough drive if you want to go to Waikiki. I can’t say enough good about our stay! It was perfect!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time. The view is spectacular, the beach is lovely and very private, the condo is very nice and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The check in and check out process and procedures were easy. We would have stayed longer if we could!

Nice and not so nice

The interior is very nice and clean. The building is being remodeled and is not nice. The AC for the bedroom vents into the main room and is noisy. You have to then run the unit in the main room to get the heat out of the condo. if you don't use the AC the street noise is pretty loud in the bedroom. The request for the renter on cleaning the unit when leaving, even when they are charging a large cleaning fee was unacceptable. We have never seen anything like this before and hope to never see it again.

Lovely location

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It was close to spectacular scenery and several activities. We did not have the pleasure of seeing sea turtles on the beach but enjoyed the sunrises/sunsets and the nearby mountains. Make sure to visit the nearby Shrimp Truck from Food Network as well as the Huli Huli Chicken down the road. And who doesn’t love the Macadamia Nut Outlet! Yum!! I would advise that the owner invest in a new mattress. Other than that, Aloha!

Good location on east coast

Good location for exploring the east coast. Very nice apartment - renovated well with good Wi-Fi and washing machine/dryer. Lots of equipment provided to use on the beach. Lovely view from the lanai and a good private beach. Beautiful sunrises. Great food trucks across the road and a decent supermarket. Not many restaurants around. There is construction in the complex, but this did not affect the apartment during our visit. However, this is an ongoing project for many months to come, so it would benefit you to check with the owner what the latest plans are.

Great place to slow down!

We really loved everything about the unit, laundry, kitchen, lanai, that view!!! We saw whales from the balcony and turtles immediately while snorkeling at the beach on property. The only downside was the construction which we were warned about. Honestly it was just more motivation to get out and see the sites!

Amazing Vacation stay

We had incredible stay. The place was cleanand had rhe most amazing view. Walking on the beach we came across a turtle up on shore. Extremely easy to find. Will definitely look at booking this location again!

A trip to 2 sides of the island

This was our first trip to Hawaii, we stayed in Waikiki beach for a start of the trip which was at a resort. Coming to this side of the island really was a breath of fresh air. The views from the condo are amazing. We saw turtles swimming and coming onto the beach everyday right from the lanai. Sunrises are beautiful and snorkeling was amazing right off shore. Loves out stay, we will be back. The condo is well stocked with all the standard needs to cook, clean, etc…. The beach chairs, snorkeling gear, and cooler were nice to have as well.

Hawaiian retreat

The unit was spotless on arrival. Owner was prompt to respond to questions about the cable internet connection. The location was perfect fo exploring the north shore and the immediate environs were remarkable. A beautiful sandy beach is located just behind the condo with waters sheltered by a substantial reef about 2-300 yards offshore. Every night large sea turtles hauled up on the beach to rest. Nearby, Monk seals beached during the day to rest of there exhausting fishing forays. During our stay in February, we spotted whales just offshore breaching and spouting. The northshore big waves were breaking and we happened on the big wave surfing competition - amazing feats of experts cutting on 40 foot waves. Lots of good restaurants locally and even more a few minutes north in Laie. Hauula BBQ and both local shrimp trucks are worth a try. A great supermarket (Foodland) is located in Laie for stocking up. It was a fabulous location, and we will be back.
