What a lovely house! Perfectly placed and we loved waking up to the views! There was everything we needed in the house for a relaxed and comfortable stay - including a well stocked “welcome basket” which was lovely to arrive to after a long journey. Even though we were only able to stay for just the 3 nights - we managed to fit quite a lot in - but want to do so much more so we will just have to come back again.
Lovely, welcoming cottage - in a perfect location, with wide ranging views across Poole Harbour. The place was clean and very inviting. The welcome hamper was a great touch. The kitchen was excellent and well-appointed. First class accommodation in a prime spot, with easy access for the Quay. Parking was good. Superb!
A very nice property in a great location. Enclosed back garden makes it ideal for a dog. Many great restaurants within walking distance. Host Andy quick to respond and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Everything about the property was as advertised. Ideally positioned close to the Quay and overlooking the sea. The host very kindly left a welcome food basket for our arrival and when we need to reach out with a query on the WiFi code he was quick to reply and resolve for us. The house was in immaculate condition and served as an excellent base for us to move around the area
Clean, cosy, warm and comfortable, shame we can't book the weather. Good secure garden for our dogs, although grass needed a cut, but an excellent location for harbour walks, beach access and open green spaces...Would use again.
Lovely situation & house but needs some work. Stairs v steep. Needs banister rail at the top. Lounge cupboard should easily be a downstairs loo/cloakroom.There was 1 1/4 loo rolls for 4 people for a week. Someone's used loo roll. Yuck. No full-length mirrors anywhere. The mirrors there are too small & high.Nowhere to stand toiletries in bathroom, for 4 people. and needs a chair . There's plenty of room.Needs blankets in main bedroom. Mornings are quite cold.If you take the chest of drawers out of the main bedroom there will be a lot more room.No tin opener or baking trays/dishes in kitchen.NB This is my review, not big criticisms!
Great location, an easy stroll into Poole and great local restaurants and bars, loved reading upstairs and watching the boats sail past, so relaxing. Lovely welcome hamper, and enjoyed the tea and cookies in the garden, just great. had an issue with fining the thermostat, but Andy was straight on it and let us know. Parking is a huge plus too.
Lovely house in a perfect location. Loved the sunset/sunrise and watching the Oystercatchers etc. Great to walk into Poole and also explore the local area. Got the ferry over to Studland and walked to old Harry Rocks. Plenty of places for walking and bird watching. Great host, really quick to respond to messages and send information
2nd time we've stayed and it felt like home when we walked in.
Lovely and clean with lots of welcoming touches.
Great place to stay even with the unpredictable English weather.
