Very conveniently located. Close to where I was working downtown. The apartment was clean and communication was good. It is definitely loud at all hours of the night. I brought my son’s sound machine; that made a huge difference at night. The bedroom area could use some curtains to block the light from the gas station signs. Tina’s being downstairs is very convenient for a snack!

Great location, nice little apartment. Had everything we needed. Taking off one star because it's quite loud in the neighborhood, but they do provide ear plugs which were much appreciated!

The BnB itself was very clean, updated, and well-maintained — exactly as described in the listing. Unfortunately, the surrounding neighborhood wasn't ideal for me. On the first night, there were loud street noises, music, and even some shouting/fighting nearby that lasted well into the night. The second night, I had to call the non-emergency police line due to someone blasting music at a nearby gas station for over an hour at 3am.While the host can’t control the area, potential guests should know that the noise level and activity outside may not be suitable for light sleepers or those looking for a more peaceful environment. That said, if you're not bothered by city noise and want an affordable, clean stay, this place could still be a good option.

All But the Neighorhood

Incredibly beautiful and clean unit. Raven cares about the tenants and bends over backwards with fruit welcome basket.Not owner's fault that people are sleeping on the sidewalk across the street, and the street folks approach you when you return home from the Reds game. Doesn't bother me, but could not bring the Wife to this neighborhood. So close to venerable Findlay Market and the Connector shuttle, but the area, after 3 nights of experience, is sketchy.

We booked this property to go see a reds vs cubs baseball game. We get there and park, as we are getting ready to get out we see a man and a pregnant women walking towards our vehicle. The woman is shaking her head and staring at us with a dirty look on her face like we were doing something wrong. We walk around to the entrance of this place and there are homeless all around, people are loitering right outside the door and trying to talk to you. We go up to the room and I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in a situation in my life! We have stayed at many large downtown cities and been around the homeless. We travel a lot and very often but this was a total different feeling. Neither of us felt safe and we decided to find somewhere else to stay. As we exit the building, as soon as we walked outside, two people start yelling hey at us trying to get our attention. They kept yelling and trying to get our attention. Makes sense why the place was so cheap. I reached out to the owner through VRBO and she let me know they have a very strict no refund policy. I can understand why. If they offered refunds they would probably lose money! Not even a block down the road was a homeless camp. After getting home and talking to a coworker about the situation, he told us he’s from that area and it was a wise choice to stay somewhere else. We stayed just across the river in Kentucky and it was way better. If your planning to stay at this site DON’T! Go across the river. Much safer area!!

Breaking this review into parts:-Raven gets 5 stars. She was prompt and very helpful in answering our questions. Helped us understand parking which is shared with ither tenants and restaurant staff.- Apartment gets 5 stars. Looks newly renovated and in great condition. Bed and furniture were comfy. Note, we stayed in apartment 7 which was on the second floor but had one very long flight of stairs with a landing and another flight of stairs up to our apartment.- Neighborhood. 2 stars. Area is in transition and first night there was commotion at Shell gas station across the street. A very loud party with quite a few cars with loud music playing for over two hours late at night before 4 police cars showed up and dispersed the crowd. Even saw a fist fight. After that night there was a private security car and no more commotion. However traffic noise persisted and earplugs Raven provided were much appreciated. Agressive panhandlers telling me that I owed them 5 during broad daylight. Never realy felt threatened (we are from NYC) but did feel uncomfortable at moments and girlfriend would not stay here alone. As area transitions this should be a great place to stay.
