Located in beautiful Carolina Beach, this gorgeous oceanfront property, recently updated in 2025, features a heated saltwater pool that lights up at night, private beach access with shower, and large backyard that are exclusive to the two units of the duplex and shared by the guests of both units.

Permanent Waves has 5 bedrooms with 4 1/2 baths, water views from nearly every room that can accommodate 14 guests comfortably and in style. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the table and 2 bars provide seating for up to 14 with additional seating for 4 on the oceanfront porch. Wireless internet is available throughout the unit. Each bedroom and the main living room enjoy Smart TV's with premium cable packages. A Blu-ray DVD player, DVD's, books, games and puzzles for all ages are at your fingertips.

Bedroom 1 is on the 3rd floor and features a king bed, vaulted ceiling, large bathroom with jetted tub and tiled shower, desk for work/study, and large oceanfront balcony with porch swing. Bedroom 2 is located on the 3rd floor and has a king bed, large bathroom, and beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Bedroom 3 is located oceanfront on the 1st floor with a queen bed, full bath and seating available on the oceanside porch. Bedroom 4 is located on the 1st floor Waterway side and has a queen over queen set of bunk beds. It shares a full bath with Bedroom 5, which has a twin over twin set of bunks and a twin trundle.

Exclusive to this unit are a private, outdoor hot & cold shower, propane gas grill, multiple boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a beach cart, sand toys and pool floats.

During your stay you will receive a welcome bag with paper towels, napkins, laundry pods, dryer sheets, dishwasher pods and other goodies to make your stay more enjoyable.

The owners use this property throughout the year so it is upscale with all the comforts of home. In an effort to keep our home in top shape for all of our guests we require a 3 day minimum stay in the off-season and a Sunday to Sunday 7-day stay in the summer.

Permanent Waves, Unit 2, is perfect for families getting together for a reunion. For larger family reunions and multiple families vacationing together, the entire house, Waves and Sun, (VRBO #4253263) is available for rent. Waves and Sun, can accommodate 25-28 guests.

This beach house was perfect for our family to relax and soak up the sun. Plenty of room for everyone with fantastic views on both sides. The pictures online were spot on! The host and property manager were very kind and happy to answer my questions as well.

Beach vacay

this prooerty was absolutely perfect. It is right on the ocean with balconies in many bedrooms so you can get up and just step outside to see the morning sunrise and smell the ocean. Sleeping accommodations were so comfy for everyone. The pool was great, especially lights at night.

What a GREAT house and PERFECT location!

This house was perfect for our family Spring Break vacation. It was more than expected! We were so spoiled by simply walking out the back door to the beach (on a new walkway with lights that came in handy in the evening). The owners have really gone above and beyond by providing you with all that you could need from the dishes and appliances to the beach chairs, umbrellas and the "fun drinks" cups! We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to all!

Wonderful Stay! Great for families.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is large enough for 3 families to comfortably stay without being on top of each other. For the younger crowd, the house had plenty of sand toys provided. For the teen crowd, the house had 2 longboards for surfing. For the adults, this location is perfect for peace & quiet. During COVID, this location was perfect for getting away while being able to social distant from others - the beaches were not overly crowded and we felt very safe. Wonderful family vacation!

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this beautiful property and it was wonderful both times! The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped with household amenities that made our stay seem more like home. The semi-private pool was wonderful - very clean and well maintained. Our 6 year old granddaughter especially loved it! And it was so nice that the pool was heated - much appreciated on those cooler May days. Our family created some wonderful memories that we will cherish and remember for the rest of our lives at this beautiful home. We highly recommend this home to help you build your family memories.

Perfect Spring Mini Vacation

What a wonderful few days we had staying in Brian and Keli’s A Seaside Memory. The home is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers the fun of a pool with the beauty of the beach just steps away. We had oodles of room as there were just five of us. My cousins were visiting me from Norway and I wanted to give them some time at the seaside. They LOVED our mini vacation at your luxurious home in Carolina Beach and we all wished we could stay longer! Thank you for sharing A Seaside Memory with us. I’m sure we will be back!

Great Beach House

Property was great and was very close to the beach. Everything was clean, working and communication with the owner was easy. I didn’t read the listing super detailed before booking and when we arrive found out that they do not provide sheets for the beds and you’re expected to bring your own. This was entirely my fault for missing but is a little unusual for a property this size. Overall we had a fantastic experience and would definitely use this property again.

Family-Moon at the Beach

Following our wedding, we decided to spend a few days at the beach for a "Family-moon" with both sets of parents and our grown children. What a wonderful home and backdrop for this celebration! The home is beautifully decorated with it's beachy theme. We decided on an in-house low country boil for our last night, and the well-equipped kitchen made it a breeze! Although we didn't utilize the pool, the renters in the other unit seemed to enjoy it. We loved the private access to the beach and the view from the decks on the 2nd and 3rd floors. We hope to bring our family back again here next year. Thank you!

F❤️MILY Carolina Beach House

We can not say enough about this spectacular beach house and all the incredible accommodations! It’s absolutely beautiful! The views are gorgeous! The owners Brian and Kelli are always available and extremely helpful and friendly. Our family of 8 enjoyed our stay immensely. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas were not only comfortable but also decorated so tastefully. Every aspect was perfect. We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate mother’s day week with the family. The weather was lovely and we enjoyed the pool and beach every day. Carolina beach has the cutest town with tons of fun to entertain you in the evenings. We will definitely come back! Thank you to the owners for sharing their gem!

Family Gathering for Graduation Celebration

We stayed at this beautiful home with our family of 6 plus 2 sets of grandparents. It was a perfect set up for all of us. An elevator for our elderly parents, a beautiful pool, close to the beach and incredibly stocked with so many details. The owners of this location have been incredibly thoughtful about nearly anything you would need. Cake and Pie pans, a mixer, a book collection, beach chairs, traditional or Keuring coffee pot, pool toys. You name it they have likely thought of it. We had such a wonderful time with our whole family and we were just so comfortable. A true home away from home. We plan to return!

On the ocean side, Dolphin pods are a frequent siting due to the close proximity to the inlet. On the street-side, enjoyable past times include boat watching on the Waterway while capturing a stunning sunset. Just minutes away the North Pier and Freeman Park are perfect spots for those who like to fish, crab and rake for clams. And, right out the door, guests can relax/swim in the heated, salt water pool or stroll down the private walkway and put their toes in the sand for much needed beach time.
