Boaters are welcome to tie up at our dock overnight during their stay.
Jones Creek boat ramp is less than 1/2 mile away. Jones creek is a high tide only ramp...there is no water and access to pull a boat at low tide.
Sunbury boat ramp is about a 15 minute drive away & is access/use is not tide dependent.
There are a few steps to get into the house at all entrances. While there are handrails throughout, there is no wheelchair ramp to access the house.
We are accessible to our guests throughout their stay and pride ourselves on always responding promptly. We give our guests their space to enjoy the property on their own but are happy to lend a hand as needed. We have helped with everything from launching kayaks to baiting crab pots & cooking crabs and have even provided tutorials on how to pick & clean blue crabs. Quite often we are asked to meet up with guests at the dock to share restaurant & sightseeing suggestions which we are happy to do - there is nothing better than learning about the area you are visiting from a local! Our goal is to provide a 5 star experience for every guest, every stay.
Plenty of parking for several vehicles available. Easy turnaround and places to park a trailer if towing a boat.
Other things to note:
Small gatherings are welcome at Marsh Manor but must be discussed with the host prior to arrival. Depending on the nature and needs of the event, an additional fee may apply. If you're planning a wedding or a larger celebration, we also offer dedicated wedding packages—learn more at experiencemarshmanor.com/weddings.
Smoking permitted outside in designated areas only.
We’re happy to welcome service animals at no charge, and no documentation is required. Guests may also bring up to two well-behaved dogs (40 pounds or under) for a pet fee of $125 per stay, which will be billed after booking confirmation. To ensure a comfortable experience for all guests, dogs must remain leashed outdoors, be cleaned up after, and stay off the furniture. If left alone in the house, they should be safely secured in a guest-provided crate.
Just for our VRBO guests:
At this time, VRBO does not support automatic pet fee collection through our system. After your reservation is confirmed, we’ll send you a secure payment link to complete the $125 pet fee with ease. If you have any questions, we’re just a message away and happy to assist!
