House sleeps 10-11: Massive living rm with Cathederal Ceiling, Master King bdrm ensuite w/AC, King bdrm, Queen bdrm, bunkbed bdrm, eat-in kitchen, Cable TV, Internet, washer/dryer/diswasher, hardwood floors in most bedrms and kitchen, canoe and kayak. The house offers plenty of appliances and all the basic necessities to make almost any meal. Outside, enjoy quiet evenings barbecuing while watching over views of the surrounding mountains and island. Dock for up to 25' boat and beautiful sandy beach and swimfloat for water fun. House is also close to skiing and skating in the winter. Enjoy this house all seasons!

Relaxing lake house

Lauren reached out before the trip to go over everything and was incredibly helpful. This is a family home they’ve had for awhile so there were so many blast from the past features like built in bread drawers that we loved. The deck is very large and had enough seating to accommodate everyone. We were looking to relax and not to have to drive to the lake so this was the perfect place for us.

Water front is amazing, and close proximity to local islands for kayaking/adventuring. Nice quite location, house is spacious and had everything we needed for sleep, cooking, laundry, bathing. Deck, firepit and docks are quintessential lake life, loved our stay here!

Great Location!

Overall...great time. The house is large, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths. Plenty of space for 8 adults, 1 toddler, 2 babies, and, of course, family dog! The location is perfect and a lot of space to spread out. Will definitely return next year!

Beautiful, fun and comfortable for every season

We are repeat visitors to the house and it doesn't get much better than this. The location is perfect- quiet but close enough to the attractions. Lots of fun to be had in summer, fall or winter. The water access, beach and views are spectacular. The house is very comfortable and accommodated our extended family and its perfect for entertaining. We can't wait to return this summer and enjoy the Lake.

The carpeting should be replaced and living room furniture isn’t inviting to get comfortable on. The bunk beds didn’t work for my family; kids sleep anywhere but adults need a room with privacy at night.

We have been on Lake Winnipesaukee over 40 yrs. Our mother designed this place and it is truly home for our family. We love to just come here and listen to the loons and eagles and enjoy friends. family and a good meal! We especially love to share our home with people who appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of this place.

Why they chose this property

This property is only a few steps away from a beautiful white sand beach. We also have amazing lake and mountain views as well as being situated just opposite 2 neighboring islands (Blueberry and Hull). We have a separate sitting dock, main dock, a large porch facing the lake and an outdoor fire-pit . Finally we able to comfortably sleep 10 people with 4 large bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths , an eat-in Kitchen and spacious well situated living/dining room with lake views. There are limited houses for rent on this exclusive bridged island which makes staying with us a unique opportunity.

What makes this property unique

The house is on 1 out of 3 of the only bridged islands on Lake Winnipesaukee and is extremely private. We offer a canoe and Kayak for renter use as well as swim float and have a dock that can accommodate boats up to 25'. Funspot, Weirs Beach, Loon Center, NH Science Center, Castle in Clouds - 100 year old Lucknow Estate, Center Sandwich -Classic Old New England town are near the property for unique activities. Local restaurants nearby: Red Hill Diary, Lemongrass Grill, Mug on the Bay, Deli, Corner House Inn, Canoe, Lavinia's, Common Man family of restaurants, Yankee Smokehouse BBQ.
