Feel yourself sink deep into the comfort of this rustic log home with all the modern amenities. This 4100 square foot home is ideal for entertaining large or small groups. Equipped with a gourmet kitchen with a indoor BBQ grill. The second floor has a private family room and a games room with a pool table. Upstairs loft has a extra bed with a desk for business duties. Sleeps 12 people only.

If you would like to take your entertaining outside – the outdoor gourmet kitchen comes with granite counter tops, a brick wood-fired oven, a state of the art BBQ, and a commercial deep fryer. The outdoor area is cooled by overhead fans. This is a Lake front all season vacation home where you can experience a wide range of activities in the summer you can enjoy the walk out beach, swimming, boating, fishing. The fall has amazing scenery with all the beautiful colours. The winter you can snowmobile on groom trails, skiing and ice fishing. We are located 8 min from the airport and a 20 minute drive to Sudbury where you have tourist attractions, shopping,casino and restaurants. Also a 15 minute drive to Cedar Green golf course.

July and August are 7 day minimum
* Please leave the house as you found it. Be Respectful.
* Our cleaning fee is 350.00 .

Wonderful Place!!

We had an amazing stay and Julie was a wonderful host. The house was beautiful and a great rental for a large group of adults! We had a friend with us that requires a walker and the house was very accessible for her to move around and go into the bathroom and get around easily. Julie was very friendly, she always responded very quickly and accomodated us and any requests we had. Definitely recommend staying here!!

Extraordinary Lake House

Can not say enough about this house. Absolutely beautifully finished, very clean, has literally everything for all ages and really is a full experience, relaxing luxury escape and entertainment experience. Plenty of room and all the conveniences... highly reccomended and ill be sure to return again. Julie was a great host, very organized and promt with replies for any enquiries and special asks. Nothing negative to say at all!

The house was not clean when we arrived and we got ahold of Julie and she came to the house and she cleaned for 1 /1/2 hours. She apologized and refunded the cleaning costs.

Great week-end ruined by unprofessional host

My family and I stayed at this property for a weekend with a group of adults and children. The home was well equipped and had a great waterfront area. There were a few minor issues during our stay, such as the dishwasher not working initially and slow Wi-Fi, but overall, we enjoyed the weekend.The day after checkout, the host contacted me saying cleaners had found a broken statue under a table. She stated we would be charged 200 for it, based on an online price she found, but could not provide a receipt as the statue had been a gift to her husband from his mother. I told her I was unaware of any damage but would check with my group. Everyone confirmed they had not broken the statue. Since we hadn’t taken photos at checkout to prove its condition, I told the host we would still pay for it. She then said she would speak to her cleaners and waive the fee. However, VRBO later processed the 200 charge. When I contacted the host, she told me to speak with VRBO. After I did, she informed them her cleaners had not broken the statue and agreed to refund only 100 — going back on her earlier statement that she would waive the fee entirely.We had been willing to pay the full 200, but the host’s inconsistency and unprofessional handling of the situation left a bad impression. It’s unfortunate because the property itself was nice, but I would not recommend it due to the host’s conduct.

Beautiful Private Luxury Log Home

Overall great vacation had by parents and our adult children. House was very comfortable for living spaces and bedrooms. It has a very well equipped kitchen and upstairs games room. The best for us though was the exterior. The roofed outdoor space with phenomenal outdoor kitchen, fireplace and large bar countertop was where we enjoyed most of our time. The water with sandy beach, docks and a slew of watercraft kept us busy all day long. Planning to go back next year!

Perfect Summer Getaway

Amazing and fun time with family and friends! We all really enjoy the stay despite the weather was not perfect, there are tones to do indoor. Also, have to mention that the sound proof is great! My partner and I were able to sleep while our friends were on the second floor playing pool. Side note, we are already thinking about coming back next year summer!

Our northern lake getaway

This is our first time renting a house for a full week in Canada. We are from upstate NY and often go Canada for weekends etc but have never been this north of the border. The town itself is small and feels like you are in the middle of nowhere which we loved! Our family of 16 had an amazing time. The house is stunning. We loved the outdoor kitchen and used it for all of our meals. The pizza oven was so delish that we made pizzas 2 nights. Yes, 16 individual pizzas per night. It was so much fun! We had a fire most nights in the outdoor kitchen fireplace to keep the mosquitos away. We rented the boat and a jet ski which definitely made our vacation above and beyond our expectations. The house had a Sandy Beach to swim and put the water toys in to use. The bay is quiet and connects to the lake so no choppy water and windy swimming conditions. If you want to get away to a lake experience with all the amenities you can imagine, this is the house! Side note: We did have some issues with the beer tap but the owners came out and fixed it right away. They were welcoming and wanted us to have the best time possible! Anick was just a text away and helped us with whatever we needed. She honestly went beyond my expectations as a property manager. In all my years renting houses, I have never had hosts that went the extra mile like this. Thank you all so very much! We will never forget our getaway to Skead :) Suggestions for the owners: An outdoor umbrella for the deck at the lake so there is a shade option.

Amazing Upscale Cottage for Large Group

Enjoyed an awesome week with our extended family at this luxury resort style cottage. Facilities are excellent and water access is perfect for both boating and swimming. Lots of room to spread out and relax. We loved the wood-fire pizza oven, and the ice makers made drink serving a delight. Commercial style kitchen and extended buffet bar area was perfect for serving large groups. Bedrooms are comfortable and the games room was great for sprawling out the kids on air mattresses. Host was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We will definitely come back! Thank you, Rich O'Hare

Great place!

Water access is excellent, shallow and sandy and the bay is great for tubing and waterskiing with kids. We spent 90% of our time outside and even with the fire ban we could enjoy a fire in the fireplace. Area down by the water needed shade so we were lucky we brought a sun canopy. Anick was very accommodating with the issues that came up before and during our stay. Cottage is close to Sudbury and other small towns to get groceries and gas for boats. Lots of room for our families in the cottage.

Fantastic in every way

Fantastic property and experience! This home is beautiful in every way. Everything you could possibly need is already there. We all loved the wine cellar after a long day of riding. The heated garage and game room are awesome as well. What tops it all off is how great it was to deal with Anick! Highly recommended!

Family reunion

The house was very comfortable, spacious, clean and beautiful. My wife did a lot of cooking in their huge state of the art kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook any grandiose meal. The idea was for the family to spend some quality time together and we definitely accomplished that. The big dining room table was more than enough room for the 6 of us and I don't want to leave out the kitchen Island that has 6 highchairs to sit at for breakfast and the living room that has 4 sofa's to choose from. The game room was really fun. We all took turns pairing up on the pool table, Soccer table and the Hockey game. Great fun was had by all and we will be returning this summer. Thank you Anick for making this trip a smooth one.

Winter wonderland is the least one can say..!

Best cottage we have attended so far, period! The place looks and feels much better than it looks in the photos. (hard to believe, but true) It's cozy, LARGE and luxury. All of the appliances (kitchen and patio) are top notch - professional grade stuff. I am in to it - so I should mention it. Communicating with the property manager was just a call (or a message) away. The garage is huge, it accommodated all of our three cars, no problem. The sauna was used almost on a daily basis - and it was perfect. The game room "for the kids" was one of the most popular places. They were billiard and hockey tournaments - pretty much all the time, especially after the kids went to bed... Overall it was perfect in every way. We did have an issue with an overload of a fuse, but it's not worth to mention... it was fixed with a phone call. Regards...

Amazing cottage

This is an AMAZING cottage. Enjoyed evenings and early mornings on the patio. We had a fantastic time It was very well kept and extremely spacious. The cottage was exactly like the pictures. Also, Anick was really helpful, she showed up on time and gave us a full tour of the cottage. We would definitely stay here again.

Immaculate luxury Cottage

Our group had the pleasure of staying at this cottage August 7th-14th. It was a last minute find on our part and I must say that Anick was extremely accommodating. She answered any questions we had regarding our stay prior to arrival and was prompt with responding to messages. We were greeted by Anick when we arrived and given a full tour of the cottage answering any and all questions we had. The Cottage was immaculate, it had all the features of home and then some. A full eat in kitchen with a view of the living area, 5 bedrooms had all the linens and closet space to give the at home feeling. For the rainy days the games room upstairs came in handy for the kids and even the adults. Hours of fun was had playing pool, fooseball, and hockey. For the days that were warm the dock was perfect! We had the luxury of the paddle boat, Kayak, fishing and swimming. We even had the opportunity to rent the Pontoon boat for the day. It was wonderful to explore the cottages around the lake. The outdoor kitchen was a hit allowing us to make meals with easy clean up and little mess, all while keeping an eye on the kids. The outdoor fridge was convenient as we didn't have to trek through the house for drinks, or snacks. The outdoor pizza oven was one of many features that we loved, along with the Teppanyaki grill and deep fryer. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit for evening fires although the mosquitos came out in full force for about 30 minutes at dusk and then went away. All in all this Cottage was beyond perfect for our group. We would highly Recommend staying here again. Thank you to Anick for making our stay so wonderful. Sincerely the Tuer Group

Amazing cottage worth the drive easily

Thanks for an amazing rental. The place is absolutely amazing. Every detail is taken care of. The amenities are incredible, from the commercial grade deep fryer in the outdoor kitchen and the stone pizza oven all top notch. The lake is beautiful and was great for the kids to go swimming, tubing, knee boarding. Fishing was amazing and in the mornings and evenings you're catching fish every cast (1 - 3 pound smallmouth bass). I highly recommend this rental property.
