Amazing cabin spitting distance from the lake. The setting is truly beautiful private and idyllic. Particularly loved seeing the deers so close to the cabin. Would highly recommend.

We had a great weekend. The accommodation was obviously well cared for. We specifically were pleased with all the wood that was readily available, the awesome outdoor cooking space, and cozy rooms. The host was very responsive and clear with communication. Taking garbage to the transfer station was the only slightly annoying thing, but was majorly dwarfed by how great everything else was.

The location is great, the property was clean, well cared for and the host was very friendly and attentive with questions. There was a Blackstone, cornhole, fire ring and everything else needed to have a fantastic time. There also was a nice little stream that runs along the driveway that the kids enjoyed exploring in, deer and other wildlife to view and it is a very private setting. We really enjoyed having the house and the apartment so each family had their close but separate spaces, highly recommend!

Old Forge Getaway

We really enjoyed our time at this place. Host was very friendly and informative. All the necessities were available plus more...kitchenware, blackstone grill, washer/dryer, fire pot with plenty of wood. Very lovely inside and out. Comes with a whole extra apt above the garage that can accommodate additional guests if needed.

This was our fourth summer staying in old forge. We typically stay for a long weekend in between the older/younger camp sessions. This was a perfect place for three families and our children. Communication was excellent. Place was spotless. Perfect distance to old forge and having the privacy of the woods and lake access. Hopefully we’ll be able to book next year once we find camp dates!

Amazing property

Stayed 4 days for fourth of July weekend. Had 12 people and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was beautiful on a quiet lane nestled in the trees. There were plenty of amenities from cookware to kayaks. Kristen was an amazing host, check in and checkout was a breeze. She texted us to make sure we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything. Communication was great. Would definitely stay again. The family had a blast!

We had a wonderful stay with 3 families. It was perfect and well designed including ample space and privacy for each family and also several gathering areas for all. Both the main house and the apartment were very clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. The owners are very accommodating and provide all of the information to make checking in and out easy. We usually stay on water front, but this was close enough with beach access and with all there is to do in the surrounding area, we had a great time. The owners have put much thought into a clean, classy, well thought out comfortable home with Adirondack decor and wood furniture. Just lovely and we will visit again.
