We have stayed in a lot of vacation / short term rentals and Shannon’s home has been one of our favorites. The property has everything you need. It is clean, zero clutter and very well appointed. What makes it special is the attention to detail. We really appreciated the smart hime features, detailed instructions and helpful notes. Host communication is A. We have family nearby and would definitely stay again.

Shannon is the best host! Easy directions, support and follow ups! Her place is so cute, well designed and decorated. Comfy beds and towels! Well stocked kitchen and bath supplies! Will highly recommend!! And hope to stay again!

Wonderful stay! Home was immaculately clean and well organized. The communication with the owner was excellent. Beds were very comfortable (seldom get that in a rental!) and we were thrilled with the accommodations. This was a rental for a business trip, and I would highly recommend this host/unit for short or long-term stays!

The Stylish Retreat was a great rental with a cozy and comfortable vibe. The house was very clean and had lots of amenities for guests. I especially appreciated having access to the garage to park my car as well. The location was very convenient and I felt very safe as a solo traveler. Thank you Shannon!

Our stay in Houston was so great thanks to this beautiful home. The location was wonderful, but the amenities event better! Two king suites were perfect for us and included comfortable beds, expansive bathrooms and all the comforts. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, including coordinated dishes, spices and more. The pool right outside the door was great too! The garage was so nice to have along with the security of a fully gated community. Plus, the decor throughout the home was so perfect. The owners were responsive to a couple questions we had. This will become our go-to spot to stay everytime we come to Houston to see family! Thanks!!

The property was clean and had all required necessities. The main concern was the host texting me as soon as I got to the home that I have another kid with me... immediately they started saying it was not ok I bought another person and violated as they weren't going to be covered by insurance. I honestly never have been told anything anywhere when I bring another traveler...my kid was able to not work fourth of July so she came along. I was charged 300 extra if I'd known I woukd added her the house is big enough for max 6 people..Host stated that my kid couldn't sleep on the couch which was so rude. They have 2 King beds comfortably fit 3 people. I did bring a blow up bed for whichever kid wanted to sleep there as they are siblings and I knew one more was coming. It was just so odd the camera told the host another kid was at the property ahe said and immediately started blowing up my phone. I will never stay here again they dont have to worry about me and my family being a liability... we have traveled for years and never had this issue before.

We strive to provide a welcoming and positive experience for all guests and are known for being flexible when communication is clear. This reservation was made for 4 guests; however, 5 guests arrived without prior notice or approval. Our house rules clearly state a maximum of 4 guests. Accurate guest counts are essential for safety, insurance, and proper preparation of the home. We reached out through the platform to clarify, but did not receive a response within a reasonable amount of time. I contacted VRBO for further direction and was told to text the guest and note the text on the VRBO message thread. We are always happy to accommodate changes when communicated in advance, but unfortunately, that did not occur in this case.

Wonderful property! Spacious and beautifully decorated. The host has a gift for hospitality! We traveled with 2 teen boys and they loved the short stroll down the sidewalk to the pool. Beautiful and welcoming! We would definitely rebook if we were heading to Houston in the future!
