Play location, centrally located good neighborhood love the outdoor amenities. Kitchen was fantastic. The beds were very comfortable over and all it was one of the best venues we've ever stayed in thank you so much.

The Gingerbread marionette was a perfect getaway! Mario is extremely attentive and the house has everything you need. Our family was so comfortable during our stay. We would definitely stay again!!! Best VRBO we have stayed at!

This house is excellent for a family! We traveled from California to Memphis for a big family trip, and everyone was comfortable. Communication and check-in is easy. It’s perfect for kids, too. All the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and plenty of space for kids to run around and play. And, the house is lovely on the inside and out! Thank you for a great stay!

It was a PERFECT stay! My wife and I brought our 2 daughters and son in laws with their 2 children each (from 3 months to 13 years old) and everyone had a BLAST! There were so many games and activities to keep everyone happy. From pool table to frisbee golf and outdoor swings to multiple board games and much more no one was ever bored. The “Ginger Bread House” was immaculate and stuffed with amenities too numerous to mention, from frothers to air fryer to excellent coffee machines and more. And the decor was well thought out and beautifully done. We travel all over the world and even though we enjoy most places we stay, rarely do we stay somewhere where we don’t say “We could have used a ______.” Here, we wanted for NOTHING and neither did anyone else with us! It was close to 100 degrees F outside in the afternoon due to a heatwave and the house stayed where we put the thermostat which is very important for us. Even our children talked about how lovely and impressive the home was. Everyone was happy and comfortable. We all highly recommend staying here and personally want to thank the owners for all their hard work and thoughtfulness in putting an elegant, fun and wonderful atmosphere to be enjoyed by all. When we come back to Memphis we will want to stay here!!

The house was beautiful just as the pictures. The host Mario was alway quick to respond with any questions I may have had. That me me fee safe in the event an emergency arose he was reachable. My family all loved the home. The games, and outdoor area were a very nice as well. The home was close to all of the attractions that we were interested in. I would suggest this host to anyone and would stay hear again in the future.

Perfect home base for our missions conference! Our group of 15 stayed here while attending a conference at a local Memphis church, and this property was ideal. Beyond accommodating our team, we also hosted other missionaries for evening meals, making this the hub for post-conference fellowship, strategy prayers, and important conversations. The open floor plan was essential—it created natural gathering spaces without feeling forced. The abundant outdoor space gave us room to breathe between sessions, and the game room provided a relaxed atmosphere for building relationships and connection. The kitchen made it easy to prepare group meals, and everyone had enough personal space to feel comfortable. The elegant, well-maintained home honored the significance of our time together. We can’t imagine how our conference would have been the same without this property serving as our gathering place. Will definitely book again!

Mario's property exceeded our expectations for our family! The property was kept in great condition, spacious and had all the amenities that a family would want! His attention to detail really shows and we will be back if we are in the area again. It's a great property for large family gatherings!

This home is the jewel of Memphis!! The home is beautiful and is probably the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in, and I've stayed in many homes. We stayed two nights while visiting our daughter who attends the University of Memphis. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook her a home-cooked meal and we loved the outdoor firepit. We had a wonderful visit and we will definitely be back! Thank you Mario & Esthela

A great home

This home was perfect for my family. We celebrated my grandson's first birthday and had a great time in the home. The best part was all the outdoor seating. We also had a Passover seder. The house had everything you could want. Would stay again.

Family Getaway

I can't say enough about this house and the host, everything was fantastic. Everything you need is at this house, it was a true home away from home and the backyard and game room where amazing. The host was quick to respond with questions and check in with me just as a courtesy. Looking forward to another trip for our family of 12 and would recommend this host to anyone and their homes.

I cannot say enough positive things about this property! Charming, beautiful decorated and clean home with plenty of space for our large family for my son’s wedding weekend. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of coffee, tea, etc The host even had a nice goody basket filled with snacks. The outdoor space was also very nice- loved having coffee outside every morning. Great location too. (noisy corner, but we are from Memphis and knew this was a busy intersection- but the fence buffers a kot of the sound and also provides privacy!)Will definitely stay again!

Retreat

My sisters and I needed a quiet place for a retreat and this property was perfect. Our group were 13 in number, and we found the environment clean, peaceful, welcoming and well kept. It served us well and we will definitely use the property again. Mario & Esthela did a wonderful job. We loved our stay!
