Beautiful home - Simple, clean, and very well appointed. The kitchen is small but well set up and fine to cook even fancy meals. The bedding and towels were a huge help to our large family of six coming from WA state. And also great to have 6 beach badges for the week. Warm communication from our hosts and very easy check-in. The little things matter.

Wonderful home and excellent vacation!

This was our second year renting this vacation home and we are already planning for next year. The owners are so nice and easy to communicate with (though we did not have to cause everything was perfect). This house has linens which is not common and makes for lighter packing and a kitchen that makes you feel right at home. Excellent location and nice quiet area. I highly recommend!

Wonderful experience

What appealed to us with this place was that it had EVERYTHING included. From linens, towels, pots, pans, board games to even shopping bags. Charles is a wonderful host, communication was very easy. Really tried to accomodate us with all our needs. Everybody enjoyed the stay and i would not hesitate to recommend Charles as a host and his place to stay.

Love this home!

We had a wonderful week long stay in this very comfortable, fully stocked and perfectly decorated home. It truly was like visiting a friend. The bed was very comfortable, eating outside was lovey, and the home had everything you would possibly want while being away on vacation. The bay Sunset was beautiful and the ocean is a short walk across the street. It's in a nice quiet location on LBI and also centrally located for restaurants and any activity you want to do , which we also appreciated. Very nice on-site parking also. I would highly recommend. We are looking forward to spending a week next summer at this home.

Delivered a great vacation. Loved the stand alone home

Great house on the bay side of the island. Great central island location. Near our favorite Skipper Dipper for ice cream and Acme grocery store. Saw amazing sunsets. I needed to talk to the owner and they responded immediately. Loved that it did not over stuff the bedrooms with bunk beds to optimize how many people it could sleep since they don't work with adults. Provided sheets and basic towels so we didn't need to take up car room for those things. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook great meals. Living room furniture was comfortable. Only down side was crossing the main road to get to the beach but the rental price reflected its location. I would rent again

LBI likes to flood

The problem vacationing on LBI is the occasional overflow from the bay at high tide onto many street corners. The water one night came up to the front porch, past the first step. Luckily, it did not rain, or the situation would have been a lot worse. The house was well equipped, but the outdoor shower was not able to be used, and the BBQ grill had issues. But, all in all, it was an enjoyable stay.

In reference to the flooding of LBI, aside from Hurricane Sandy, the water has never even reached the first step or even the patio, which has 3 steps up. The rain has flooded the end of the street, but it has never been an issue where you can't drive through and usually only lasts a few hours.When we heard the outside shower drain was clogged, we immediately contacted a plumber. The plumber arrived and was unable to clear the drain at that time. However, the drain has now been addressed. In reference to the barbecue grill, we were unaware the grill racks being rusty. I did suggest to the renter to use baking soda on the grill to remove the debris. The grill racks have since been replaced.
