Perfect Weekend in Wilson

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful stay at the Cora Farmer house! It was even more beautiful than the pictures, and a great location - walkable to whirligig park and several restaurants. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed to cook dinner and clean up. Don’t miss out on this house if you’re ever in Wilson!

We loved staying in this home! We had ample space for our group and thoroughly enjoyed the thoughtful touches throughout. Everything was clean, well maintained and often we felt spoiled (French linen sheets). Two things that guests considering this home might note: 1) the home is also available for event rental and it appears they keep a butler’s pantry well stocked with tools and equipment for catering. That pantry is locked to guests. Having said that, the kitchen itself has excellent new appliances and ample dinnerware/glassware/flatware but anyone intending to cook might find the selection of pots/pans and serving dishes a bit slim. 2) the bedrooms are equipped with white noise machines in case light sleepers would appreciate respite from the nearby train whistles and rumbling. Non-cooks and heavy sleepers: disregard:)
