Great cottage. Everything you need to be comfortable. Best beach fire around with super comfortable chairs. We had an amazing time and would be definitely look to see if this cottage is available if we are in the area. While we didn’t need, loved that each room had their own temperature control unit.
This is a great place! If you’re looking for a cottage with view, it won’t disappoint. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking, and bonfires by the water. The host was easy going and open to suggestions. The place could use a couple of small upgrades, but we loved the layout and all of the stone on the walls/fireplace. We would definitely stay there again.

Would 10/10 recommend other friends to stay here! Cottage is beautiful and quiet. It's by the lake with kayaks and life jackets - though we did not have the chance to use them. Property owner/manager was prompt in response and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer.
We loved staying at this cottage. It is located right on Georgian Bay, with a beautiful view. The cottage itself has ample space with lots of bedrooms (all have blackout curtains) and a beautiful wood interior. We didn't spend much time inside since the outdoors has so much to offer. I spent my summers in Cape Chin as a child and this stay brought back so many memories. It is located right in the middle of Lion's Head and Tobermory, allowing an easy trip to a sandy beach or shops/groceries.
We had a great time at this cottage. It's in a very remote location and extremely quiet. The best word to describe it is serenity. Because of its location there is no cell service but they provide high speed Starlink internet so we could use that to communicate with the rest of the world when required. We did have issues with the lock upon arrival, so we connected to the WiFi to message the host and he was able to help us get in. The cottage has plenty of space and they provide all dishes and most other necessities. Being up in the Bruce Peninsula, the dark skies are overwhelming at night, with a clear view of the stars as well as the arm of the Milky Way. They also provide kayaks so we enjoyed a paddle out on the lake with virtually nobody else around. A nice relaxing and peaceful location, would love to return again.

This is a beautiful setting with easy access to the rocky beach along Georgian Bay. The sunrises and sunsets were breath-taking, the night skies were perfect for star-gazing, and most of the time the only sounds were birdsong and quiet waves. The Bruce Trail is a short walk away, with both rocky shoreline views, and side loops into meadows and forests.
The cottage had good kitchen appliances, a smart TV, reliable fast satellite WiFi, and a new air-conditioning system. Outdoor areas including the deck, gazebo with picnic table, and chairs along the beach, provided lots of relaxation options.
I booked according to the 9.8/10 ratings and discounted Johanne B.'s 4/10 rating from June 2025. Unfortunately, we experienced many of the same issues as Johanne's family. The cottage was incompletely cleaned on arrival, with surfaces not wiped, floors not swept, and dirty dishes in the cupboards. The owner responded promptly, the local manager brought us supplies, and the cleaning team was informed of the deficiencies. The listing states there is a drilled well and UV filtration system, but the water is not drinkable, and renters must bring their own drinking water.
The cottage was built around 1975 and there is "deferred maintenance" of windows, doors, flooring, and bathrooms. The BBQ was rusted. We can confirm there are working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors on both floors.
I hope the issues raised here get corrected, and lead to an improved experience for future renters.
Property is just as described. Lots of space. Kitchen is spacious and has everything you might need. Perhaps too much. We had trouble finding space for all of our pantry food items. Kayaks and life jackets were super fun Basement was a little mustyOutdoor space is fantastic. Really enjoyed our stay. 5 adults one child and infant. Thank you so much.
