Welcome to Pampered Bear’s Den a newly built serene cottage retreat in the Bruce Peninsula, steps away from the iconic Georgian Bay shore area or Bruce Trail. Experience the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities in a prime location for exploring. Venture out to enjoy outdoor decks, bonfire area and the surrounding or take a short walk to Georgian bay beach
Swimming, kayaking, hiking are all just a stroll away!
The space
Located on Cape Chin South, 10 acres of forest therapy offers plenty of opportunities for recreational activities with its abundant wildlife in the area.
The cottage features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace and relaxing living spaces. Guests are sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this brand new fully furnished and beautifully decorated cottage.

Warm loft with extra sleeping area - sleeps up to 6+2 children. According with municipal bylaws children should be 12 years old or under
Fully Stocked Kitchen with everything you need (full fridge, stove, microwave)
Guest access
We text on the morning of check in the access code for the keypad to coordinate with you.
Texting our cell is the best way to reach us during your stay, as we can't always get internet connection when on the road, or in some parts of the peninsula.
Other things to note
We’re happy to welcome small to medium-sized hypoallergenic dogs! Just a heads-up—owners are responsible for any damages, and we kindly ask that you clean up after your pup. Don’t forget to add your furry friend to the booking—a $50 CAD pet fee per stay will apply
We're on a drilled well with state of the art filtration system all taps are potable. Kitchen has reverse osmosis system for drinking water
We ask guests to keep showers short, and give some time between bathers, so as not to empty the well.
We're on a septic system. This means unlike cities, we're not connected to municipal sewer lines.
Please flush only the septic safe toilet paper provided.
Absolutely no other items should be flushed down the drains/toilet
Kindly keep the main entrance doors closed behind you at all times for wildlife (though left unlocked).

Our mission is to help our guests create beautiful family memories in our cozy cottage. For us to do so, we would truly appreciate it if you can follow these house rules and confirm that is has been reviewed WITHIN 48 HOURS OF YOUR BOOKING. This is to ensure that if there is any reason the House Rules cannot be followed, you, our guest, will have the option of cancelling the booking penalty free as we have a strict cancellation policy. Thank you in advance and truly appreciate your cooperation!
Code of conduct, which adheres to the following guiding principles:
• Remember, the premises you're staying in is a home.
• Treat it with the same care and respect you would your own.
• Be considerate of our neighbors and maintain a peaceful atmosphere.
• Leave the space in the same condition as you found it.
• Please understand that we are not permitted to host commercial activities such as parties, weddings, or other gatherings. Additionally, guests are not permitted to have additional visitors during their stay.
•We kindly remind our guests of the Municipal Noise and Fireworks By-law to ensure a peaceful environment and avoid disturbance activities such as:
Playing loud music or using outdoor speakers.
Hosting outdoor gatherings with excessive noise.
Igniting fireworks.
Engaging in disturbances during late or early hours.
Yelling, shouting, chanting, or having loud conversations.
Exceeding occupancy limits as agreed at time of booking
Please be mindful that guests are not permitted to disturb neighbors or disrupt their enjoyment of their properties or the public realm, at any time of the day or night. Non-compliance with the Municipality's Noise By-law may result in the involvement of the Ontario Provincial Police, who may issue a Notice of Offense upon attendance, carrying a fine upon conviction for a first offense.
Please be advised that the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula Noise By-law, By-law No. 2018-37, is in effect 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The By-law states that: “NO PERSON SHALL RING ANY BELL, BLOW OR SOUND ANY HORN, SHOUT OR MAKE UNUSUAL NOISE(S) LIKELY TO DISTRUB THE INHABITANTS OF THE MUNICIPALITY ALLOW OR PERMIT SUCH NOISE TO BE MADE.”
- Please remove you boots and shoes within the house
- PLEASE WASH YOUR DISHES after use. If dishes are not washed, extra cleaning fees may be applied.
- Linens, pillows and towels will be provided for your stay. Please ensure no stains from makeup, bronzers and etc. are left on the towels or linens, or you will be subject to $50 cad fees per item
- OUTSIDE FIRE PIT
Please make sure to extinguish the fire pit completely every night.
DO NOT LEAVE THE FIRE UNATTENDED OVERNIGHT.
No fires are allowed during a fire ban.
A $1,000 fine may be charged for violations by the municipal bylaws enforcement.
- Absolutely NO SMOKING NO VAPING NO USE OF DRUGS in the house. Please put all cigarette butts in the fire pit and not on the lawn. A $500 fee will be charged for smoking inside the property
- We’re happy to welcome small to medium-sized hypoallergenic dogs! Just a heads-up—owners are responsible for any damages, and we kindly ask that you clean up after your pup. Don’t forget to add your furry friend to the booking—a $50 CAD pet fee per stay will apply.
- Any unauthorized late check outs will be charged $100.00/per hour
- Please do not leave food or waste outside as this attracts wildlife
- The BBQ is to be used by the guests who stay at the home and is not to invite others to the home as it will be considered as hosting a party. Please clean up after yourselves and keep the grill clean. If found left dirty and requires extra cleaning, an extra cleaning fee may be required. On your check out please put the cover back and bring the tools inside .
- Please do not rearrange our furniture. - THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES AT THE PROPERTY!
- If guests are found to have had a party without host permission which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges
- PLEASE MAKE SURE TRASH CAN LID IS FASTENNED AT ALL TIMES
