This has to be one of the best VRBO stays Ive had in a while. Rob was very communicative, helping give us ideas for where to go and what to do in the local area. Property was very clean and 100% accurate to the listing. Location was great as it was either a short walk or quick drive to a number of great hiking trails and a public beach with lake access. Property was quiet and private, with some nice outdoor eating areas, and even a BBQ. I honestly don't think there could have been anything else done to make this the best possible experience! Next time Im in the area I would certainly book again.
It was cozy and clean cottage. We just came from our weekend get away from this cottage.we had a great time and my daughter really like the attic room.bed was very comfortable.kitchen had extra supplies that we could use.Only challenge there is no stove and hot plate in the kitchen wasn't that efficient. But there is a stove attached with BBQ we able to use that for cooking.will recommend to take your insta pot or rice cooker for indoor use. There is no lake access at the backyard.5 min away lions head beach and nice area to walk around.Overall we had a great time at this cozy cottage.
A great cabin for a get away from the hustle & bustle. Close to Bruce Peninsula National Park, Tobermory and other trails. Less than 10 minutes to town of Lion's Head with a neat little beach park and grocery store. Very comfortable and had all we needed for our stay. Quiet and serene. Absolutely loved it and would stay again.

The flower gardens, surrounding forest, watercourse and patio furniture were beautiful. The small house was pretty and quaint. The house is located just down the road from an access point to the Bruce Trail. The shower was lovely.
The bed was broken when we arrived and propped up with wood, which fell over when we lied down on the bed. The bed needs to be fixed. Sleeping on the broken bed was uncomfortable.
This place is nice, but not in the top tier of short term rentals. One defect which must be fixed is the electrical service. I am not an electrician, but I am a retired real estate appraiser, and I’ve looked at a lot of houses and a lot of commercial buildings. One has only to look at the service entrance in one of the bedrooms and the outlet on the wall below it to realize that there is no way that this property is wired up to code. The outlet has exposed wiring because the cover plate does not cover the hole. It would be very easy for a child to stick something in there and contact a live wire with tragic results. You need an electrical inspection and then all the work needs to be done by a licensed electrician. This is important stuff. Also, the fee was somewhat high for the quality of this property. (certainly acceptable with the exceptions noted above, but not luxurious), then fees and taxes were piled on with the final result very close to double the original amount. The rating on this place should really be two stars until the electrical is fixed. With that done, I would rate it four stars.
So cute and cozy! Very comfortable bedding, extremely well-stocked kitchen, and great location on a quiet road next to a fantastic hiking trail. Had everything we needed for a weekend getaway, would stay here again!! :D
We had a great time hiking the Bruce trail around Lion’s Head. This cottage was great for our needs. Very quiet and cozy. Loved the gas fireplace in the chilly mornings.
Great little cottage meeting all our needs. Note that there is no beach access, but there is a lovely beach in nearby Lion's Head. Easy access to the Bruce Trail and great hiking opportunities.
