Charming Large Midtown - Easy CWS Access
This is a spacious, 2200 sq ft, classic PRAIRIE STYLE home just west of the Benson Neighborhood. This turn-of-the-century home offers five bedrooms and two full baths, a fully furnished kitchen, separate dining room, and large living room. There are four good-size bedrooms upstairs, and one large bedroom on the main floor with private entrance. There is also a full bathroom on each floor. This home comfortably accommodates 8 to 10 guests.
Our home is 5 miles from downtown Omaha, the Century Link Center and Ameritrade Park – or about 10-15 minutes drive time, and only a 5 minute drive from the Westroads (CWS shuttle), and Borsheims at the Regency Shopping Center. We are centrally located, less than 5 minutes to 72nd and Dodge Street, and the Nebraska Furniture Mart with easy access to shopping and great restaurants.
The back yard is over ½ acre with a 600 sq ft deck and grill, and lots of room to relax under our Ginormous 100 year old Catalpa Tree! Summers are great here!
This 100+ year old home is remarkably well-preserved with lots of its original character and beauty, but also has all modern conveniences. Original Oak and Tigers Eye Maple wood floors, 9 ft ceilings with original plaster cove, and numerous antique pieces are only part of the charm. We love our well-cared for home and know that you will too.

This is such a beautiful historic home, and has great access to all activities in the city. Great for College World Series groups, Berkshire Hathaway, Graduations and Family Reunions.
What makes this property unique
This home has a wonderful old world feel to it, plus the downtown area is very quickly accessed. Everyone says their favorite thing is hanging out on the large deck. 🌿 Our home is one hundred and ten years old this year. The amazing Catalpa tree that shades the deck is the state record holder! During our modernizing we have been very careful not to destroy the homes original character. It is a home that captures a bygone era.
