About this property
Charming 1940s Cabin on Mohawksin, Firepit, Kayaks/Canoes Incl. Close to Trails
Step back in time with this classic 1940s cabin, thoughtfully updated to retain its rustic charm. Featuring original stone wall fireplace, and a vaulted pine ceiling, this cabin embodies the perfect blend of history and comfort. The spacious bedroom offers two queen beds and a lofted double, ideal for kids. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower.
Nestled on the shores of Lake Mohawksin, known for its exceptional fishing, including musky, walleye, panfish, pike, and bass, this cabin is a fisherman's dream. The property boasts 140 feet of private water frontage, offering a peaceful retreat with minimal neighbors, thanks to its location on a private road.
For convenience, the cabin is just a short drive from Tomahawk, where you’ll find everything you need, from restaurants and a grocery store to hardware and motorsport shops. Downtown Tomahawk’s Wisconsin Avenue is just minutes away, featuring several shops, coffee spots, and restaurants for your enjoyment. If you’re up for an adventure, Minocqua is only a 40-minute drive away.
Enjoy the lake to its fullest by taking your boat to nearby restaurants, parks with beaches, or even a ski show. Fishing hotspots are close enough to reach by kayak, and with nearly 2,000 acres of water to explore, you’ll never run out of places to discover. Other lakes in the area also offer additional opportunities for exploration.

About the host
Hosted by Wild Rivers Property Managment
As a Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse, we sought a peaceful retreat. Having grown up working on farms in Wisconsin, we always dreamed of owning a lake home. We were fortunate to find this hidden gem and have spent years lovingly updating the cabin. With life now busier due to kids, we’ve decided to open our family cabin to guests, trusting that you’ll care for it as much as we have.
