This was a wonderful place to stay for a week while I attended a couple of workshops at a Eugene area business. The house was very clean andcheerful with lots of light from the many windows. The bed was comfortable as well. I will definitely want to stay here again.
We needed help when we arrived and the host helped us get what we needed with politeness and was very quick to get back to us. The place was very clean and over looked the valley. We enjoyed our stay and the house’s many amenities. If you need a place to stay don’t hesitate with this property it is a winner.
From the moment we walked in we knew we had made the perfect VRBO choice. The kitchen is very nice and well stocked with cooking supplies and an unexpected array of spices and teas. The living area is delightful with mid-century design seating. And the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Our host was super responsive to questions and the check in process was seamless. I would definitely stay here again.
The place was clean, spacious, and comfortable with all of the necessities for cooking. My son was happy with his room and I slept very well in mine. The neighborhood was also nice and had many options for dining in our take out. I would definitely stay here again.
The space is open and bright, with lots of natural light. Very comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed! Comfortable bedding and space to spread out. We enjoyed our stay and would absolutely rent here again.
We enjoyed this very thoughtfully crafted apartment very much, especially all the windows and natural light, and the sense we were staying in the tree canopy. The living room was very spacious, and the kitchen was very well supplied so we could easily make our meals.A child who visited loved playing with the games, especially Jenga! The bedrooms were quite comfortable, and the whole apartment, including the bathroom was very tastefully decorated.
We only were in town for one night but would have loved to have stayed longer and plan to come again. Eric was great to communicate with and we appreciate the gracious option of an hour earlier check-in. The apartment was very clean, inviting, lots of little extras (like hot chocolate), good towels and blankets. The clawfoot tub requires a bit of agility to get in and out of, but we managed. We highly recommend Eric’s apartment “In the trees.”
Great stay overall! The place has wonderful natural lighting, was very clean, and had excellent water pressure. The location is fantastic, quiet on the weekends and within easy walking distance to town. During the week, there may be some construction nearby, so check with the property owner if that’s a concern. One note: the bathtub sits higher than a typical tub, which could be challenging for guests with mobility needs. Otherwise, it was a comfortable and convenient stay.I’m a geologist and my guests are environmental scientists, so we were stoked to see the College Hill Reservoir Replacement restoration project happening next to the property! Reinforcing the reservoir to prevent collapse from a major seismic event along the Brothers Fault Zone (BFZ) is impressive and I communed Eugene for taking this feat on. Loved this property!
Good property to stay in Eugene (with car). We stayed one night after a Duck’s game. Owner let us drop bags while the house was being cleaned before the game which was nice. Owner was good at responding.
Bummers: when we returned from the game, the heating system had not been turned on so the house was in the low 50’s. Took a few hours with the ductless system to get the house warm so we had to sleep in the layers we went to the game with. There were supposed to be blankets but we found only one for the bed one of my kids was using. More definitely needed for the house during the winter as the comforters are thin.

Hi Leslie,
Thank you for booking with us. We appreciate your feedback so that we can ensure every stay is as comfortable as possible. I typically clean the unit myself, but due to extenuating circumstances was unable to, and hired a cleaning service prior to your stay. They must have turned off the heat which was unexpected. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience!
We also appreciate the the feedback regarding blankets. I brought over 4 extra blanket this afternoon, increasing the throw blankets from 2 to 6, ensuring that future guests each have their own extra blanket.
With these changes we hope that future guests are as comfortable as possible, and that it shows our due diligence to earn your trust back for a future stay and a five star review! Have a wonderful holiday season and we hope to host you again!
The unit was nice, clean and worked well for us. It's in a building that's divided into 3 units, so just fyi that you'll have some shared walls and car park. It wasn't an issue for us though.
