Quiet Lakeside Rangeley Lake Cabin

Rangeley Waterfront Cottage- Sleeps 5. Kitchen includes electric stove & refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker,linens, pots/pans & utensils, silverware, plates, bowls & glassware. Large living room including couch & comfy chairs. We offer a gas grill, picnic tables, fire-pit with Adirondack chairs & firewood. With a public boat launch close by, we offer two docks, one for your boat, kayak, etc., another for viewing sunsets and fishing. Swimming in clear crisp water with private cove, large grassy open lawn space, horseshoe pit, screened in porch. The boat dock will handle larger boats up to 22 ft. Don't forget your hammock as have hooks pre-set under the trees awaiting. Great location for kids as tapered water level, grassy area to play that game or throw a Frisbee. Plenty of sun when the weather is right.

Highly recommend Randy’s cabin if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, rustic but comfortable getaway. Awesome location on the lake tucked into a protected cove with a nice view. Communication with Randy was timely and informative. We will not hesitate to stay here again.

Quiet lakefront cabin

The quietest location on Rangely Lake. Our granddaughter loved feeding the ducks everyday. We saw loons and bald eagles everyday.

The well maintained cabin is set back quite a ways from the main road on a spacious grass covered lot that has plenty of tables, chairs, two docks, grill, and a fire pit. It is very private, only one camp is visible through the woods which means it is really quiet. The dock for the boat is in a small cove protected from high winds with ample hardware to secure your rig. The depth of water is around three feet so come in slow and trimmed up and you'll be alright. We did not swim, but it looks like young children will need assistance to get in and out along side the dock, as their is no beach. The cabin has everything and more with a large screened in porch with a table/chairs where we sat most of the time watching loons, fish jumping, and beautiful sunrises! We would highly recommend this lake front property all day long!

Peaceful, private setting nestled in a cove area of Rangeley Lake, South Bog, Oquossoc , Maine The cabin was clean and neat, and relaxing. It takes you away from the busy life into a Zen experience . We rented kayaks and love taking day trips around the nearby South Bog area. Lovely get away for a small family or couple

If you were to read all the reviews and choose a few key factors they would include the quiet nature of the property, unique views not only of the surrounding mountains but of the wildlife appearing, camp setting being close to water while sheltered in a quiet cove and last offering plenty of open space to relax and view stars. The cabin is setup to provide a peaceful setting with a focus on personal relaxation that is yours to choose. Not all guests choose to sleep in the cabin but tent or bring their favorite hammock to be outdoors while having using the cabin to support their needs. Think outside the box.
