Husband and I stayed here after our wedding around the corner. Cabin was clean and comfortable, the owner was super sweet, we would definitely stay here again.
We had a very relaxing weekend here in a cabin that was homey and well furnished, a very useful kitchen, and absolutely peaceful and quiet. We were here for a long weekend to visit area wineries and the location was very extremely convenient. I would consider staying here again when I next visit the finger lakes region.
Cozy, Charming Cabin in a Tranquil Setting My husband and I and our two pupsters enjoyed a wonderful three-day getaway here (only wish it were longer). The cozy, lovingly decorated cabin is located on a secluded, tranquil property with lots of land for long walks. Kathy and Ted Grey are wonderful hosts (this was our second stay at one of their cabins). The Greys are friendly and responsive with helpful suggestions for places to visit. We left rested and refreshed with two tired fur babies who loved their long walks around the grounds. We'll be back!
What a relaxing, quiet, cozy cabin to stay in! Grounds are beautifully maintained, and the cabin is tidy, efficient , and so comfortably appointed. The owners are easy to contact, so friendly, and very helpful, and let us a bottle of scrumptious dry red wine from Hunt Country Vineyards. Our two dogs loved it too!
Had an awesome time. Kathy was available to answer all questions. Property was quiet, clean and had a lot to explore. Was also close enough to keuka lake, wineries/breweries and towns. Would definitely return in the future!

Spotless, comfortable and welcoming cabin. After a little confusion on our part with out GPS, we were kindly guided to this gem by our host. The deck was perfect for our safe social distancing visit with relatives from Rochester. Very, very nice!!

Our family had a great weekend stay in the Grey’s Cedar Cabin. We enjoyed paddle boarding on Lake Keuka, hiking the Gorge Trail at Watkins Glen, & jet skiing via Keuka Watersports. Each evening we came back to the cabin to grill our dinner out on the deck. Firepit & s’mores to cap off the nights. Kathy & Ted were excellent hosts!
This is the adorable, heartwarming, comfortable, lovely cabin on wonderful grounds that you're dreaming of when you think of a cabin vacation. Everything is hygge, rustic, sparkling clean, convenient, and beautiful. Roomier than we expected, very comfortable and inviting. The grounds are lovely for hiking and fishing, and great local attractions are 10 min away. The hosts are delightful and make everything so easy!

The property was exactly as described and clean and tidy. Kathy (the host) was attentive and very easy to work with. I don't have a negative thing to say. We came up for a long weekend of fishing at the Finger Lakes and we're not disappointed. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Very sweet and fun acres. Kids liked fishing. Close to a lake with a great boat rental we used. The cabin was roomy and had fun games for kids. I might have missed this but on the way there we were reminded by the host to bring our own towels and sheets so we had to purchase some from Walmart. This might have been in the description but I didn’t remember seeing it so just note this. No laundry so just make sure to plan accordingly and bring your own water bottles if you are particular. Great hiking trails to walk and AC worked well.

Grey's Cabin #1
This place was even better than the pictures made it look and how often does that happen?
This cabin had even more to offer than expected. The beds were very comfortable and the atmosphere was extremely scenic and relaxing. The complimentary wine, chocolates, and wine tasting, were above and beyond expectations. The owner's made it very easy to find the cabin, plus suggested things for us to do, during our stay. I took my husband here for a weekend getaway and it was perfect, because he loves the outdoors, fishing, hiking etc. Yet it is not far from Keuka lake, so you could spend time doing all the activities around the lake, as well. I am excited to bring my whole family back some time soon!

Took my wife and children on a last minute surprise weekend getaway. Kathy and Ted were so helpful and accommodating. The property was awesome for an outdoor family getaway with conveniences of home. It’s a wet spring so we got a littl muddy. But we expected that. Kids practice catch and release on some fish while we made s’mores at the fire. Took a short trip to Keuka State Park.
We will be back. Thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful, restful, peaceful time away - just what we needed.
Rented cabin #1 for a couple days to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. Enjoyed all our meals on the porch with a view of the ponds and the sounds of wind, birds, bullfrogs - depending on the time of day! Queen bed in downstairs bedroom is very comfy. Would enjoy exploring the property more when it dries out a bit! It feels like you are really up on the hill, especially when you drive back down to "civilization". Nice proximity - not too far, not too close - to Keuka Lake St. Park, Penn Yan, Naples and Canandaigua. We hope to return. Than you Kathy. PS - Bonus to be able to have our dog with us, not needing to find a place to board her and having her company.

So lovely meeting such fine folks as the two of you. You seem to love nature and the peacefulness it provides as much as we do , so happy you enjoyed your stay. Congratulations on your anniversary and hope you return again soon! Thanks you for your nice review and kind words.:)

This was the perfect get-away cabin - extremely clean, little homey touches everywhere and very comfortable furniture (beds, sofas, patio lounge chairs). Ted and Kathy were very good at communicating with us the whole time including before we even made our reservation. I was also impressed with their handling of the whole pandemic situation - they are waiting a few days between each rental to ensure everybody is safe and stays healthy.
For the first time in months the whole family really felt like they could breathe. There was limited phone service and no wi-fi but this is what really forced us to enjoy family time unplugged. It is wonderful to wake up and just see green and be immersed in nature.
Thanks for sharing your cabin during this unprecedented time and giving us the opportunity to relax!

It was SO nice meeting your family for a brief time and talking to you about your upcoming reservation, you seem like such a nice close knit family and we love it when our guests enjoy nature as much as we do .Thanks for keeping the cabin so clean. Hope you visit us again .!
Who doesn’t love the warm welcome of a vase of fresh flowers and a bottle of wine to tease the weary out of the travel worn? We came to get away and unplug and reconnect with each other. It was everything we could have dreamed of. The cabin is lovingly decorated and furnished and was very, very clean. It felt like home immediately. We spent some days exploring lake Keuka and drove to some wineries and antique shops. Other days we spent reading in the sun porch or walking the trails or fishing on the pond. We brought our dog Tess. I think she enjoyed it more than we did (if that’s even possible). She was fascinated with frogs and toads and would chase them every chance she could. The night sky was stunning! We saw meteors and more stars than I ever remember seeing. It was so hard to leave. The accommodations were stellar. We loved our stay and will be back. Thank you Ted and Kathy.

We mostly stuck to the wineries and ate at a few local places. The cabin was cozy and we enjoyed our getaway. Would definitely stay again just to be able to check out more places when we have more free time.
We have a family of 3 children and 7 Grandchildren .We enjoy hiking, camping ,swimming, and boating in the Finger Lakes . Owning this cabin has given us the opportunity to meet many wonderful people who also enjoy nature and the serenity of the woods and the relaxation of camping and getting away from the hustle and bustle!
