Amazing Parents Weekend

The Linden house was a perfect place to stay for Parent’s Weekend! We had plenty of room to have our kids come visit so we could feed them and get to spend some quality time playing games and hanging out. The decor is beyond perfect for all IU fans. We can’t wait to go back.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was perfect for entertaining our group, with plenty of space and lots of indoor and outdoor games to keep the kids busy. The outdoor area was a great place to relax and spend time together. The owners clearly paid attention to every detail—we especially loved the well-stocked coffee bar. They were also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing for our large group!

Our group of 13 LOVED this house! The Linden house has everything! It is equipped with anything you might need during your stay -from a super durable outdoor speaker, to an air mattress that came with a headboard, to lawn games and firewood. The backyard had such a fun space to hangout. They did not skimp on anything! There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep. The decor and finishes were so impressive. We could not stop talking about the little details and finishes that made the house beautiful. The location is perfect. We were able to walk to the restaurants on Kirkwood and any point on campus from the house. We did not need anything during our stay, but the owners were very responsive and reached out to make sure everything was going smoothly.

Our stay at Linden House was amazing from the minute we booked our trip. We were in Bloomington for a week to help our son who was starting at IU as a freshman. Nicole and Brad reached out from before with recommendations and tips, they even offered for us to send some things to the house since we were traveling from out of the state. The house is equipped with everything you might think of, the kitchen is great and had everything we needed. We were not able to use any of the outdoor amenities because we were busy with the move in but we would love to stay here again whenever we go again!! The house is so charming, they really did think of every little detail for the guests, they had waters and even snacks ready for when we arrived, there really are no words for the kind of thoughtful and exceptional hosts that they are. The location is great, just one block from the university and close to so many food options and downtown. Thank you Nicole and Brad for hosting us in this beautiful property and for making our trip so special!

A Perfect Weekend

I recently spent 4 days at the Linden with a group of college friends for our annual reunion and we had a fantastic stay! From when you first walk through the gate into the backyard, you know its going to a special place. There is a firepit surrounded by chairs, an outdoor TV, and plenty of room for games, such as cornhole, which they provide. Once you walk into house, you know they want to make feel at home. First of all, throughout the first floor there are stashes of snacks, which we took full advantage of. Everywhere you look, you see IU memorabilia tastefully placed. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need including all the spices you could ever need and most importantly, coffee. Right off the kitchen there is another a patio area with the biggest Blackstone grill I have ever seen and we took full advantage of it. The dining and living room were large enough that our party of 6 had plenty of room to eat and play games together. It could easily host many more. The bedrooms were all very spacious and the beds were great. Campus is a short walk away and Kirkwood and of course Nicks, is about a 20 minute walk away. To summarize, if you are looking for a place to stay in Bloomington for a group of friends or family, you should look no further. I know that we will back!

Best Mom's Weekend House

Wonderful home for mom's if 5 college roomates and fraternity brothers. Boys could hangout at the house with us plenty of space. Large enough to host a brunch with mom's & sons. We were lucky to have warm weather in February and use the outdoor space. They thought of everything you need to have a quintessential Indiana experience. Must rent!

Lovely Home for Making Memories

This home is the perfect gathering place to enjoy time with friends in Bloomington! We had 5 adult couples comfortably stay in this well appointed home … every corner was cozy with blankets, Indiana decor and the comforts of home! What a fabulous experience at Linden House in Bloomington! I only wish I'd found this when my kids were still students at Indiana. Hosts were timely in responding, flexible with our check-in and parking plans, and super helpful in making our friend's birthday one for the books. The photos don't do it justice! We used every sleeping space available for our large party and everyone was comfortable (great beds & linens). Walkable to all the fun places we visited. Highly recommend this or any other property offered by this host. Thanks again!

Great Stay

We were in town for a Hoosiers basketball game. The house was perfect and within walking distance to both the game and Kirkwood. Too many amenities and special touches to mention. We had plenty of room to spread out and especially enjoyed the game room. Character galore! Our kids are now begging for a record player like the one in the basement. We hope to be back to fully take advantage of the house and outdoor space when the weather is nicer.

This property has many amenities for all age groups! There were many indoor spaces for family members to do different activities . There was outdoor space to play games and visit. The game room was a big asset for all age groups. It had bedrooms on all 3 levels which was nice for different age groups for sleeping arrangements. It was a great place for our family annual vacation for 3 generation ages!! Being close to IU was also nice!!

Absolutely awesome place. Exactly as advertised. It would have been a 10/10 on location and house condition alone, but the owners think of everything to make the stay incredible. It’s clear that they really want your stay in Bloomington to be memorable.Besides the incredible kindness/thoughtfulness…the attention to detail is also extraordinary — even all the way down to phone shedding cables (both USB C and older versions) on each bedside nightstand.The games were great as was the backyard.I definitely hope to stay here again with my family.

Fantastic Historic House

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Not only was it very clean, but there were plenty of unique unique and thoughtful touches including games and blankets for around the firepit. It's clear that the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need. We loved the gaming room and overall design of the shared spaces and bedrooms. The outdoor area is very inviting and the landscape was beautiful! I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this house if you have a large group staying in the Bloomington area!

Absolutely Perfect Stay at Linden House!

Linden House was the perfect spot for our college girls’ reunion weekend in Bloomington! From the moment we arrived, it felt like the ultimate Hoosier home - thoughtfully designed, beautifully decorated, and full of Indiana University charm. Every detail was clearly planned with care, from the cozy spaces to the IU-themed touches that made us nostalgic for our campus days. The house had everything we needed (and then some!) - plenty of space to gather, laugh, and catch up, plus all the modern comforts that made it feel like home. No detail was missed, and it was spotless, stylish, and simply perfect for our group. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Bloomington. Linden House set the bar high for reunion trips! ❤️

Gorgeous Historical Home in Bloomington

Our extended family enjoyed the holidays in this beautiful 1920s, renovated home. The hosts were very prompt and responsive in all communications. The home included thoughtful amenities, and the decor and furniture choices were all beautiful. We all enjoyed the games, arcade, pool table, darts, and air hockey. The bedding was high end, and we all slept well. While the kitchen was small for today's standards, it added to the charm of the historic home, and was stocked with everything we needed to make home cooked meals. The outdoor spaces were inviting and would be great for warmer temps. Everyone in our party loved the home, except for our Boilermaker alum, Ha. We will definitely consider staying here again. (Go Hoosiers!)
