As the evening winds down, gather around the firepit and toast up a round of tasty treats while you regale one another on stories from the day’s adventures.
Away from the home, with its warm southern hospitality, Lexington promises an unforgettable family-friendly getaway. Plan your visit around the annual Lexington Barbecue Festival, a lively event that celebrates the city's heritage with delicious food, live music, and fun activities for all ages. For a unique experience, take the family to the Richard Childress Racing Museum, where car enthusiasts of all ages will be thrilled to see the impressive collection of racecars and memorabilia. Only 25 minutes away, you can also check out Childress Vineyards. Relax and wind down with a glass of wine and take a stroll through the vineyards.
Indoors, soaring ceilings sit atop brightly lit, open spaces adorned with contemporary furnishings and stylish décor. Gather in the living room to relax and connect while seated on plush leather sofa and recliner seating, the smart TV streaming all your favorite shows. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen showcases stainless steel appliances, sleek countertops, and soothing blue cabinetry stocked with all the comforts of home. Join together for meals large and small at the kitchen table with views of the lake or in the dining room at the formal table, each seating 6.
When your competitive side comes calling, head down to the basement and engage in a few rounds of ping pong or board games while the bartender among you whips up cocktails at the wet bar. With a second living area offering sofa-style seating, a fireplace, and TV, there will never be an argument over what to watch.
