This room was in the Crowne Plaza hotel in Dallas. Initially there was nothing in the room that bothered us. No stains in the floor or on chairs in the room. It was loud at times with cars and sirens going down the road but that's to be expected. Our shower didn't drain well so we were standing in ankle deep water. Other than that, this room served us well.

Not exactly elegant

The location itself is great, I was able to walk everywhere. Right next door to the hotel was a large group of vagrants drinking and smoking, but other than that, walks were fine. Check in was a nightmare. The property appeared understaffed, however staff were extremely friendly initially. Upon entering the room itself, the intake for the AC is located above your head and is dripping water onto the floor. The unit itself is LOUD and had to be turned off just so we could get some sleep. The view outside was nice though. The bed frame was larger than the mattress so I hit my shin on the metal braces several times. As for the rest of the property, the elevators broke twice during my stay. The bar served 2 year old seltzers. The pool was open the first day I was there. When I went to go the next day, everything was locked up. I went down to the front desk to inquire about the pool opening and the staff member very rudely let me know it doesn’t open until May (even though it was open the day before) Needless to say, definitely will never book this establishment again.
