Old Town Gate Dubrovnik - room 1

House is located on the best location in Dubrovnik, just next to the Old Town Gate of Ploce. We rent several doublebed rooms (1 big bed in each), all with small private bathrooms, free Wi-Fi and air-con.

All 4 rooms are very similar.

This is the listing for 1 doublebed room. If there are more then 2 persons coming, You would need more rooms. All of our rooms have 1 big bed.

Old town, beach, bars, restaurants, taxi, laundry shop, cafes and grocery shops are in 50 meters range. Guests don't need to use a car or public transport at all, since everything is in walking distance.

Breakfast is optional and it is only a few steps away.

It is served in a small restaurant next to our house. "Gusta Me" (in translation "I like it") restaurant is nice, cozy place in the shade and (as the photos below show) it is very nice place to start Your day. It is not owned by us, but it is our partner restaurant and we recommend it. You can buy breakfast directly from us. Breakfast is not included in the above price.

Terrible property in a great location

Totally unacceptable property that fell way short of VRBO standards. Hallway smelled of stale smoke. Surge protector positioned over headboard. Worse than those was the fact that we found a live bug in the bed along with bug (flea?) feces under the top sheet and mattress pad.

disappointed in Dubrovnik

The property is located just outside the East gate which is a plus, but also very noisy because of the bus and taxi stand across the street. Couldn't sleep at night because of the loud voices. There was a heavy smell of tabacco smoke in the hall. Could not open the windows because they were tied with tie wraps. The apartment needs some spruce up. Only one electric plug in the room, none in the bathroom, no place to hung the shower head while taking a shower, very tight bathroom. We had to place the suitcases on the floor because there was no place to put them. I rated this property a generous 3 star but could have been less

The host was very helpful to me but the stairs are very steep and not well lit.

Great Location!

Great location! A couple of things to note, LOTS of stairs. You are able to tilt the shutters to allow fresh air in but not allowed to open the shutters. Bring towels, bar soap, shampoo and conditioner. Friendly host.
