Great place to stay if visiting the Fredericksburg or Washington DC area. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Beautiful views of the lake. Beds were quite comfortable! Owner was great to work with!

We’re grateful for your review! It means a lot to know our space helped make your trip a great one.
Just a note …..The banisters on outside and inside stair cases should be adjusted. They were very wobbly. We used 2 bunk beds, none of them didn’t have the top sheet on the bed. We did have to ask for more towels, but that were brought to us promptly. The kitchen is nicely stocked. We had a very nice stay there !
This is a beautiful, clean home with a beautiful view of the lake. It was spacious enough for a family of 8 and we loved the pool table and kayaks. The host was responsive to questions and requests. Unfortunately, there were several issues with the refrigerator, plumbing, and AC that required several visits from plumbers, HVAC techs, and other repair personnel to fix and that detracted from our vacation.
Beautiful home and neighborhood. Had many amenities that made our stay that much more pleasant. Host was very easy to get ahold of and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Thank You - we look forward to hosting you again as we add more great amenities to our lake home!
The Lakeside Escape fit our multi-family group of 13 exceptionally well! Several spacious bedrooms gave our group privacy and the kids were able to room together in the 4 bed bunk room. No one ever needed to wait for a bathroom and a pack n play was available for the baby. The kitchen was well equipped and modern, the family room large and inviting and the game room downstairs was fun with a pool table, large tv and high top table.Out back there is a patio and large 2nd story deck with a propane grill to enjoy while taking in views of the lake. There are multiple public beaches around the lake that deserve visiting, many with benches or picnic tables. The gated community also has a playground for the little ones and a golf course. The golf course and clubhouse both have a bar/grill. We had dinner at the club house and the food and service was very good. Also for those interested there are many Civil War battlefields in close proximity that offer a chance to take a self guided tour and learn about our historyAll in all this is a great place to rent!
Stocked with fabulous goodies, this place was a great find. We had access to the community pools and beaches. It spaciously accommodated our group of 4 adults and 7 children ( including 1 toddler). There were many children's activities nearby.... including a Children's museum in Culpeper, an Urban Air ( kids inside trampoline, laser tag, zip line and ropes course and driving course) as well as a paintball/Gelball park.
