Everything about the property was wonderful. It was a shame that the weather was too cold and damp to enjoy the roof top deck and Florida room. Would be a wonderful place with dryer weather. The unit itself was very comfortable and welcoming. Just the kind of place you would want to retreat to and unwind after a day out enjoying Philly.

Cozy old city stay

Great location. The dining and living room are very large - perfect for entertaining. The house has a nice vintage vibe and was clean. There is a parking lot next door, but street parking was easy enough.

The house was comfortable and very easy to navigate into Old City as intended. The sleeping arrangements are misleading; 3 bedrooms but only 2 of the rooms have actual beds. There is no futon or otherwise, only floor cushions to make a 3rd bedroom which is not connected to the main living space - not ideal for children. Amenities such as wash cloths, shampoo, body wash, etc were sparse to non-existent and kitchen was also missing essentials that I would expect like salt & pepper when spices are listed within the house description. The space was very clean, host was responsive leading up to the stay and check-in was a breeze. However, this home would probably be more appropriate for a group of friends or an older family group, not a young family.

new year’s eve get together

this property was in a perfect location for walking all throughout philly. the flower shop underneath is super cute and the house decor is fun and personable. our host was very communicative and helped us with any questions we had. my only note is make sure you’re closing the red door with a decent amount of force to be sure it’s fully closed before you lock it. we had an amazing time at the old city flower house and definitely would book here again c:

Great location for walking everywhere!

We visited for a weekend - 3 adults and 3 youth and our dog. Eric is responsive and professional. The location was PERFECT for us as we like to explore by walking. Historic sites, great restaurants and bars all located within blocks. Loved the roof patio and people-watching on 3rd St. Charming parks close by to walk dog. Pros: clean, comfortable, well-maintained property, location close to so much, great host. Cons: noise from late-night bars on the street, parking limitations/cost.

Okay stay- good location, but pest issues.

Good location. Easy to walk to historic sites. Great coffee place across the street. Bring a sound machine to block out music from bars which was not unexpected as this is a popular nightlife area. House was as advertised and clean, wear and tear as expected in a rental. However we had an issue with ants. Property owner was prompt to respond and provide pest control for ants which took care of them quickly. There are mice in the building- there were new mouse droppings all around every morning, on table, couch, desk etc. Owner needs to handle this quickly as the amount of dropping probably means multiple mice. Dryer works slowly. Do small loads and dry multiple times. Great bucket of toys for the kids. Roof deck was nice.

Great place in a perfect location. We stayed with our two teenage children to watch our Tigers play the Phillies. We easily walked to Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, Reading Market, Chinatown, Franklin Fountain, Cherry Street Pier and the Art Museum. We don’t mind walking multiple miles a day so this place was really right where we wanted to be. Nice and safe neighborhood day and night. Everyone on the streets and in the neighborhood were friendly. No issues at all with any of the locals and neighbors. If you don’t want to walk, Uber is always available. We used it a few times and always had a driver come very quickly. Uber to and from the airport was about 45 each way (we had 4 people with luggage). The house had all of the charm that an older place in a historic city should. Loved how it was decorated. It reminded me of places I stayed when I was younger. AC worked great on the hot days. We didn’t cook at all, but the kitchen had the essentials we needed. Beds were comfy and had plenty of pillows and extra blankets in the closet. Tons of storage in the rooms for your clothes and hangers in the closet. It is a busy city so you will hear some street noise. If you are a frequent traveler, you will no doubt bring a noise machine or use your cell phone for white noise which will drown it out and allow you to slumber like babies. Bottom line, the street noise did not bother us one bit. We have been to other cities with way more noise. Great place would stay again.
