THE SPACE:
8 guests will rest comfortably in this 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath recently renovated 1920s Craftsman bungalow. Your group can relax together in the large, open-concept living area, featuring 11-foot ceilings, hardwood floors and large windows. There is a 50" Roku TV in the living room and fast wifi throughout the house for your devices. Chefs will love the fully stocked gourmet kitchen.

Need some fresh air? The Southern front porch is the perfect spot to unwind with your favorite beverage. The Atlanta Beltline is just steps from the house, offering miles of tree-lined trails and parks circling the city.

Please note: For your security and mine, the exterior of the house is equipped with 24-hour, wireless enabled security cameras that I have access to via app. The house has an indoor noise sensor that alerts me when the volume is too loud. There are no cameras or recording devices inside the house.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:
West End is a vibrant, up and coming neighborhood just 10 minutes from downtown. We are walking distance to the Beltline, a growing number of patio eateries and breweries, Kroger supermarket and West End MARTA station. The house is on a peaceful street with friendly, diverse neighbors. If you've spent time in any major American city you'll feel right at home.

Great Place!

This was a great property, nicely renovated, clean, with comfortable beds and lots of room. Only drawbacks are narrow road makes parking difficult, and the area is a little rundown/sketchy (although we didn’t have any problems). But, all things considered, we would definitely stay here again.

The house was much bigger and nicer than the pictures appeared. The neighborhood appears to be Renovation homes still being remodeled. Overall, very peaceful and pleasant stay. Will definitely stay again.

Spacious and clean!

4 couples came into Atlanta to go to Sweetwater brew festival and this is a perfect location. Just a few miles from downtown cheap Uber/Lyft. Walking distance to a nice bar. We would 100% want to stay here again if we choose to come back next year.

Overall very pleased with this home!

We booked this home kind of last minute and let me tell you, we were so relieved to walk into a beautiful, spotlessly clean space! There is so much room in the living/kitchen area, and all the bedrooms are great. We appreciated the Keurig and k cups provided, lots of towels and extra blankets, pack n play, the list could go on and on! The location turned out to be a sweet, quiet street despite the surrounding area. No complaints, and would definitely recommend this stay!

Travel Team weekend

House was clean, a few different little issues but owner handled. Up and coming neighborhood, a lot of rehabs beimg done on street. A little noisy in morning but will end when properties on street are finished. very close to dowtown which was nice and easy.

Atlanta visit

Trip up for College visit and a visit to the Zoo. Location was not too far from downtown. Didn't take Marta but was an easy drive to downtown. House was very cute in an upcoming neighborhood. Roomy so plenty for the entire family. Driveway was tight for our SUV but street parking was available. No issues with anything so had a wonderful stay.

Very nice spacious home. Neighborhood not so much

The inside of the home is very spacious, clean and accommodating. The owner has a ring camera and is watching it often during your stay. The neighborhood is very sketchy. They say it’s up and coming but it definitely has a very long way to go for it to be enjoyable. We were there for our teens travel baseball tourney. It was a decent central location for that.

Unfortunately, Melissa booked this property with a maximum occupancy of 8, but 11 guests arrived with luggage and air mattresses. I don’t check the camera regularly but it’s there for that reason. The house is on a quiet street with friendly neighbors, walking distance to several patio restaurants along the Beltline. If you’ve spent time in any major American city you’ll feel right at home.

Overall, we had a very nice stay. The only thing I did not like was having to communicate about the air conditioner/heater to the owner and only being allowed to turn it down to a certain degree. It would go back to default when we left and when we got back. It would either be hot or cold. The owner was very nice to switch it over to heat, just frustrating having to wait until the morning to communicate that.

Great modern spacious clean house

House was great - spacious and modern. Neighborhood street was in a historic district in the midst of gentrification. While the street felt safe, the surrounding areas were quite run down. I did feel slightly out of place shopping in the Kroger in the evenings, especially on a Saturday evening there were several loiterers in the parking lot areas. Just be aware that this is a traditionally poorer area being redeveloped- there are pockets of good and bad.

Absolutely Adorable

We loved this home. It was absolutely adorable and perfect for a girls' trip. The neighborhood was quiet. We felt secure in the home and loved the thought that was put into the remodel. Great location. Shopping was really closer by. We didn't pay an Uber fee over $15 even sitting surge times. All the downtown spots were 5-15 minutes away. Amani was available to answer my questions even at 12AM. There were lots of dishes, spices, and linens available for us. If you have a family or group, I recommend this spit inn Atlanta.

Short and sweet

We came to Atlanta to visit a few sites and this home’s location was convenient in terms of distance to the places we wanted to visit. The house is exactly as it appears in the pictures, which was very nice. We had a short and sweet trip to Atlanta and really only stayed in the house long enough to sleep each night. As others have mentioned, the house has been nicely updated and the neighborhood is a work in progress. We arrived very late on our check-in night and we saw a lot on the streets near the house that was very sketchy. With that being said, the street the house is on appeared to be “safe”. The homes are very close together and street parking is a must (there is a driveway, but it is very narrow). The home is an older home, it comes with wood floors that creak and my only “complaint” would be the wood bed on the wood floors in the master. Any movement in the bed will cause you to wake. The other bedrooms have carpet and the master could def use a rug or carpet.

Family Vacation

Long Post: After long days of enjoying the beautiful city of Atlanta it was so great returning to a beautiful home. The home was great and it met every single need. The kitchen was well stocked and we had plenty of towels. The washer and dryer were super helpful with our big family (7). The following are some things that we would like to share with travelers to make an informed decision. We travel frequently and have stayed at many VRBO locations home: *GREAT location *VERY clean *well stocked *spacious and comfortable *great neighbors *felt very safe the entire time LOCATION: We are from a big city so we are used to being around this type of environment. However, if you are not be aware that there are homeless people around. Even being around it, we definitely would not walk around at night in the neighborhood. Nobody is going to bother you if you go about your business. The neighborhood seems to be in the process of change, however we felt it was a great mix of original and remodeled. We would definitely stay here again. The pros to the neighborhood is that during the day and evening we felt completely safe driving around in our vehicle. We went to the grocery store, visited some great boutiques. We were typically home by 11:00 pm and felt completely safe. For us it was an ideal location. Every night I spent some time out in the front porch listening to the many night bugs and enjoying the Atlanta nights. It was pretty awesome! Oh don't forget the bug spray...Atlanta has mosquitoes! Take a chance and enjoy this great home and host!

First thing is my review may be long & elaborate because I want it to help others who may want to know things I didn't know upon arrival. The house was very clean and had a great amount of space. The beds were comfortable. There was enough bedding and towels available, even though a few of us brought our own. There was a great amount of cleaning supplies, tissue and paper towels, laundry items, and kitchen items to use. I stopped by the store before arriving so I bought somethings that were already available, so I suggest going to the house first so you don't overspend on items there. We were gone most of the days from early afternoon to late night but, no problems with the neighbors. There are a lot of homeless people around but no bother. Amani was easy to reach and responded, respectfully, in a timely manner. There is a Kroger, Family Dollar, corner store, Popeyes, McDonald's in very close range. The house was in a very great location of most of everything we wanted to do. Tyler Perry Studios, Spelman College, and Morehouse were maybe 5 mins away. We were close to downtown where the Georgia Aquarium, Coca Cola building, Civil Rights Museum, Hall of Fame and so forth were located. Back routes and highway are accessible and easy. We traveled outside the area to do a few things, buy we didn't drive no more than 30 mins out. The airport was in good distance as well, roughly 15- 20 mins. Again, I appreciate the welcome into your home. I hope this review helps others inquiring about the house. Be blessed.

Great stay in the West End of Atlanta

We had a very pleasant stay in Atlanta over Thanksgiving. The house is a cute bungalow with all of the modern conveniences. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt right at home. We even walked on the Beltline which is right down the street. It was super easy to get to the fun spots and attractions in Atlanta. We would definitely stay at this house again.
