Summer Vacation

We absolutely enjoyed our stay and loved the home, resort, amenities and location. Very nice, clean, spacious and cozy home. We will definitely recommend it to family and friends, and will consider staying here again in our next trip to Florida! Thank you for a very fun and memorable stay.

Very Nice

We rented this place for the 4th of July weekend. The pool area was not that big but the kids enjoyed every minute of it. The view of the lake was nice. The only thing was that the dryer was broken and wires were hanging out when we arrived but once I informed the property owner they immediately took care of the problem and allowed us to use another dryer since parts had to be ordered for ours. Great overall experience.

many problems that make the stay stressful and not enjoyable

From the beginning the person I have attended was not friendly, our flight had been delayed and possibly we would not be able to arrive at check in, I thought that when calling to warn we would be given an option, but their answer was only that if we did not arrive on time we would lose the answer and we would not be without the house, tired and with small children I think it is not the way to attend to a family that comes from afar to your first vacation. Next up were the multiple problems in the house, the water came out super hot in the bathrooms on the second floor, we had to use all the only bathroom on the first floor, the air conditioning was damaged, just like the televisions are very old and it did not serve even to use netflix, when we called to request a technician, the technician came the next day, he said that the problem is internal because all the systems are very old, he would send a report but no one returned all week to give us a solution, in short we had to spend all the stay like this. Without any response, apologies or retribution for the breach of nonhaver received the house in perfect condition for our vacation. if you ask me why I don't call anymore, because we were a family group with children and with a disney itinerary, which we really did not insist anymore. More than knowing that we will not rent again for our next vacation.

Household items need some attention: paring knives, better caliber of cutting knives (dull), can openers, a better coffee maker, brighter light bulbs in shower, and maybe some better living room lamps without ripped shades. Otherwise, it was a gorgeous house, the resort was amazing, the area fabulous, and I would rent again in a heartbeat.

Home was filthy!

The resort was very nice but this property was gross. The carpet was stained in multiple places and clearly had not been vacuumed because there were large particles, especially on the stairs. The showers had hair on the walls and floor. I moved an end table in a bedroom and there was red sticky stuff on the wall and carpet. When we arrived at 3am the freezer door was cracked open so there was a huge water mess to clean up and no ice. I had to contact the office three times to get them to send my pre-registration paperwork. I would not use Scandi Vacation Homes again. Very disappointing!
