We had another GREAT stay at the Walnut Grove Guest House. My wife & I enjoy staying here because we can bring our dog along, stay at a place that is quiet and we only have to drive about 15 minutes to our son's apartment near the Univ. of Tennessee campus. The house has everything we need. The kitchen if fully stocked. Jaclyn, the hostess, leaves snacks for us and our dog when we stay. The fenced yard is excellent for letting the dog outside to roam around. When we are there we feel welcome and we feel like we are in a neighborhood in the hills. Within minutes of the house you have everything you need: gas, restaurants, etc... Jaclyn knew we were coming into town to catch a Vols football game and made sure to have Vols decorations on the front porch for us. We thought that was a very nice touch. We will continue to stay at this house as long as our son lives in the area.
This was our second stay and highly recommend Walnut Grove Guesthouse. This charming two bedroom house is perfect for our visits to Knoxville. Located nea
Perfect location, close to campus but far enough to be out of the crowd. Jaclyn provided everything and more that we could have needed for our weekend!
This Mountain Cottage is absolutely beautiful. Communication was outstanding, the place is spotlessly clean, the kitchen is incredibly well appointed with some seriously high quality tools, the furniture is also high quality and beautiful. The bed last night was incredibly comfortable! This is an absolute 10 out of 10. Also, the views are *stunning* and the little fenced-in yard is adorable. Honestly, I'm absolutely amazed and delighted and we will definitely be back to this place
My wife & I stayed at this house for a long Easter weekend while visiting our son at the University of Tennessee. We were 20 minutes from his apartment near campus and the drive to and from this house to campus was simple. The house was perfect for us and our dog. The kitchen has everything one would need. The property is great for walking our dog and sitting outside in the yard enjoying the views. Jaclyn could not have been easier with which to work. We plan to be back!
We so enjoyed our one night in the cottage! The owner was precious and kind, and went to great lengths to make us feel at home. The special touches throughout the cottage were enjoyed and appreciated. Even the doggy treats were a surprise and so thoughtful. We highly recommend a stay at this property!
My son and I stayed just a few days to check out the Tennessee football game. The house is beautiful and in the ideal location to use as a central point to do so many things in Knoxville and the surrounding area!
Jaclyn was a great host. The property was stocked with everything you could need, very thoughtful. The place was clean, well decorated, with great accommodations. Jaclyn was also very flexible during the booking process.
We had a wonderful stay! The home is stocked with everything you could possibly need, a long with sweet extras you don’t usually see at VRBO’s. Great communication with the owner. Very friendly and accommodating. My son is already asking to visit again! Beautiful Mountain View’s as well. Thank you for being so gracious and having us.
This was my second stay at this property. Jaclyn is a great host who thinks of all the little things that make her guests feel right at home. Quiet, relaxing house where you can unwind after your day exploring Knoxville. Highly recommend this property!

I am a wife to a wonderful husband, and a mother to 2 beautiful children that keep me on my toes every moment of the day! We work hard so we can play hard! We are an easy-going family and enjoy the simple things in life, like going to the lake, or playing outside in the yard. We love wine, cooking, football (Go VOLS!!!) and entertaining with/for our family and friends. We found our "forever" home in beautiful, historic Fountain City (Knoxville) and we are living happily ever after! Our "forever home" came with a guest house and we are excited to share it with our old and new family and friends!
