This is a a nice room with a comfortable queen bed and nice soft linens. It’s small and being in a very old Victorian building a little quirky. TV worked well. One outlet behind the bed did not work so it was difficult to use the side table lamp and not easy to charge my phone bedside. bathroom sink is small, but bathroom shelves were helpful, and it was nice to have a small shared fridge outside the room. It was a little warm at night but there is a mini split for ac and that helped. The location is a very easy walk to town, where we really enjoyed shops and strongly recommend One Oakland for coffee and breakfast or lunch and NOBLE PIES was amazing. The food and experience in the restaurant downstairs (Prime 36) where we had dinner, though very expensive, was amazing and worth every cent,

I really liked how easy it was to check-in. Each room has its own locked keypad which makes it easy to come in and out of the room without needing a physical key. The Inn had a quaint charm and lots of character. Lots things to do and eat in the area which is a plus.

Host was extremely accommodating. We were coming from a snowboarding session during the massive snow storm. Got to the inn at 10pm with a dead phone and no access to instructions for the self check-in and someone at the building connected us to the building manager which helped us get into our units.

Pros: room has 2 exposures for excellent sunlight and peaceful views, nice modern bathroom, chocolates, coffee and beverages were nice touch, loved that I could help myself to more towels, easy check in, lovely convenient restaurant and bar downstairs, easy parking. Not pros: creaky floors (room 4), lighting dim, I booked 2 nights and after the 1st night I saw housekeeping, but they didn’t clean or offer to clean my room.

The mattress should have been retired ten years ago. The noise from the restaurant below was incredibly loud. If you did manage to fall asleep if your spouse got out of bed the loud buckling of the floor boards would wake you. Even after the loud music stopped the restaurant employees yelling to each other as the cleaned and closed up was loud. I have had a better nights sleep on a destroyer during a hurricane.

Easy check-in, quaint room.

Check in was super easy. The host messaged me the code for the door lock on our day of check in and no issues. The room is above a steakhouse in an older, Victorian style home. The room has everything you need. A bed, a smart tv, a toilet and a shower. The room was clean when we arrived and the shower had different shampoos and soaps in it. The house is approximately 1 mile from the downtown shops and bars/restaurants. A lot of the shops close early but the bars are open pretty late. There’s a good mix of food choices so there’s something for everyone. Lake Wawayanda was nice. It has a nice sandy beach and is only a 20 minute drive from the house. Overall, my wife and I had a nice weekend getaway from work and life. I would return to this property in the future.

Gracious host leaving water and coffee for guests. Good location, close to the center of town (the village). Having the restaurant we reserved for dinner located in the same place was a plus and highly recommend Prime 36. Would stay here again.

We stayed in room #4 so I can't speak for the other rooms at the property. The room was charming, but in need of some TLC. Both bedside table lamps didn't work. Several window panes were cracked. The floor tile and grout in the shower were dirty and stained. There appeared to be some black mold along the ledge of the shower where the glass and tile met. The plastic runner at the bottom of the shower door was broken and coming off. The keyless entry lock on the door was very loose. Parking at the site was easy. The Prime 36 Restaurant and Bar downstairs was excellent and the staff very friendly.

I never received any information with the code to get in the door. I assumed it was like a regular in with a check-in desk.therefore we could not get into our room. There was nobody there that could help us and there was nothing we could do about it! We ended up having to go to another nearby hotel. Very disappointed. Going to fight paying this bill!!
