Cute cozy house with lots of charm and some beautiful updates. The beds were comfy and bathrooms updated and very nice. We enjoyed setting on the porch in the morning with our coffee and at night. You could walk to near by restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend and rent again!!
Beautiful older house with updated kitchen and bathrooms. Bedrooms were spacious and so was living room and dining room. Minutes walking to shops and restaurants. Loved the fenced in back yard for my dog. About 45 minutes to Shenandoah national park. Truly a comfortable place to stay. We definitely will come back in the spring. Also host checked on us to assure we were comfortable and didn’t need anything or have any questions. I have already told my friends and family about this awesome property!
This was the cutest house! Our favorite of our weeklong roadtrip. Perfect for our 6 adults. Close to town, which was adorable also. Would love to come back and stay again!
This was a beautiful home. Check in was easy, and communication was great. It's within walking distance to all of the shops on main street, and close to lots of local wineries. We had a great stay!
Lovely and comfortable cottage — such pretty decorating and nice touches, like cozy bedding and soft towels. Wonderful convenient location and responsive host. Great place for our family to gather to attend a wedding!
Upon arriving the house was easy to access. The home is a 1916 home with quirky design and hardwood floors. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean . The linens were comfy and clean as well. We just had a smell problem in this pet friendly home eventhough we didn't bring our own pets. There was a strong cat urine smell in the first level. We notified the owner to look into it .Also the dishwasher was full of prior tenants dishes and the dryer was full of the last guests linens as well and they were still damp. There is a great restaurant directly across the street and a coffee shop down the street.
We had a wonderful stay here at this cozy home! We were able to walk into town each morning to grab pastries for breakfast! Wineries and breweries are a quick drive and beautiful scenery!Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We wanted to steal a little time away and still have space for family - and this place was perfect. Comfortably housed five adults and two pups as well as allowing us the space to celebrate my mother’s birthday with local family. The hosts were incredibly engaging and helpful and the house itself was ideal.
Great location in Gordonsville! Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable. Living space was comfy with good seating and Tv options. Kitchen included basic items needed during our stay. Coffee pods, sugar and creamer were provided which was very nice. Bathrooms were nice, stocked and came with body wash and shampoo/conditioner. Plenty of towels and even a bathrobe!
My girlfriends and I had a wonderful girls weekend at the cottage! It was such a cute and cozy space. Very walkable to a few coffee shops, restaurants, and shops in tiny Gordonsville. Easy communication and smooth check in/out. Would definitely return!
