The views, whale sightings and snorkeling with the Turtles and eels was AMAZING!!! We were a little concerned about the building being renovated but the Space and 6 bathrooms were perfect. We Loved it!

It was a great location plenty of room. There was 14 of us and gave us room to enjoy it and not be another way. We weren’t in the middle of Honolulu fighting traffic good access and beautiful beach.

This is the second year in a row that we stayed in this VRBO and it’s such a beautiful, clean, and peaceful place to stay. Our whole family enjoyed their time. Thank you to Lee who was responsive. If you have a large group, this is a great place!

Don't get me wrong, this location is beautiful. However, the condos need updating and some direct oversight from someone who cares. One unit had no hot water. I messaged theowner 3 days in a row and got ignored. Finally on the 3rd day I got a response. Four days into our rental we were able to take a warm shower and wash dishes with hot water. I requested a late checkout for the inconvenience. Instead, I received a message telling me checkout was 10am. No recognition of my request. Upon stripping the beds at checkout, I found a condom wrapper (not mine) under a bed. Not sure the cleaning crew is the best. Lamps do not work in one of the bedrooms, several light fixtures in one kitchen were out. I just feel like for a premium price, you should get a premium space. Also, beware that 2 of the 4 parking spaces provided are off property about a block away due to construction. On the final day of our visit we received "violation" notices from security that the parking passes we had were expired. The beach and location is lovely. Just a bit disappointing with the accommodations and owner communication.

Pros: Beautiful views, and right on the beach. Kitchens and bathrooms have been updated. It was generally clean. There are beach toys to use, and a stroller.Cons: Does not sleep 20 comfortably. 6 beds can sleep 12. The sleeper sofas had no sheets that we could find. One air mattress went flat. No sheets for the air mattresses or pack and play. We reached out to owner via text, call and VRBO messaging. He never responded.It is a work in progress as far as renovating. There was peeling paint, and holes in some walls.A piece of the ceiling fell off and almost hit one of our family members. We could not find one smoke alarm which was operational. If the owner had apologized after we returned home, we could have cut him some slack, but he never owned up to the fact that he did not reach out to us, and we had 4 family members who had deplorable sleeping conditions with no linens. VRBO said we should have contacted them while we were there. Lesson learned.

For what we got, I would book it again. We loved being next to the ocean and being able to cook meals to save some money. And the most important thing to us was to have our whole family together. Our family had an amazing time and this was a good to great place to stay. We kept the spirit of aloha the whole time.
