Jim and I are transplants from Colorado. He grew up in Ohio and I was a military brat! After decades in Colorado, we were ready for warmer climates but still wanted space to hike and play. We collect vintage cars and have a 1956 full sized fire engine! We have become HUGE Clemson fans since moving here.
Why they chose this property
Jim and I came here for a winter as snow birds and simply fell in love with the area. We went back to Colorado but the Upstate was calling us back. So, we looked for several months and fell in love with this grand home.
What makes this property unique
Once we drove up the long winding brick driveway, we were immediately drawn in by the privacy and amazing landscape. 5.5 acres of plush mature landscape surrounds the home and pool. The Hacienda style was enchanting and we pledged to keep the house true to its heritage. This beautiful home has an interesting history that is the stuff that movies were made from. We've documented it and our guests get to read it once here. The home is on the famed Roller Coaster Road that Clemson students have known for generations!
