About the host
Hosted by Kay
Our parents discovered this little gem over 30 years ago while vacationing at a timeshare on quiet Lido Key. They bought this condo in 1986 and eventually retired here from Atlanta, Ga. They spent many years enjoying the beach and pool with their children, grand children and now great grand children. Our mother was a favorite shopper at St. Armand's Circle and enjoyed painting classes nearby where she became a wonderful watercolor artist. You will see her paintings in our home. Dad golfed almost every day of the week and proudly shot under his age. When he was not golfing, dad was out bicycling. Friends from all over love to visit, especially our German friends and Minnesota relatives. Our parents are now gone, but we have precious memories, and know that you will too as you experience our condo on Lido Key!
Why they chose this property
Spacious (over 1200 square feet), sunny, and right on the beach. We love to walk on the beach, look for unusual seashells, swim in the Gulf and make sandcastles in the sand! Private patio to enjoy the outdoors eating, reading, or a favorite drink. Blissful pool area overlooking the Gulf with fully equipped clubhouse you can use for a private party. Amazing sunsets. Quaint and quiet. Walking or short trolly ride or driving distance to St. Armand's Circle and Downtown Sarasota.
What makes this property unique
The most beautiful sun and surf you will see. Turquoise blue water, white sandy beach, surprise shelling, amazing sunsets. Quiet, comfortable retreat, yet so much right down the street for you: restaurants, shopping, culture, and fun activities for family and friends.
