Spacious house in a great location! Short walk to campus and a nice back yard with a grill and outdoor furniture, House is older with quirky furnishings, but comfortable beds and three full bathrooms! Lovely little park right across the street. We enjoyed staying there!
It was actually better than it looked in the pictures. A beautiful house, across the street from a nice park, very spacious. My family of 5 had a great stay there.Sue
This place is charming, BIG, and perfectly situated to explore the university. Pete is responsive, kind, and relaxed. I will stay here the next time I’m visiting Eugene.
The house is warm and inviting, we cooked dinner and hung out in the backyard. The living room and dining room were comfortable and perfect for our group relax and play games. We took walks in the park and the best ice cream is around the corner. It’s a special place.
The house is a gem. Such rich features. It is so solid we couldn’t hear each other on different floor. The backyard is an oasis. Parking is a premium in this neighborhood so having a driveway was a huge plus and the house is minutes from campus and a very easy walk. I would definitely stay here again.
We loved the character of the home and location. We had so much fun playing games with our daughter and her friends. The host was so responsive when we asked if we could check out an hour late and also when I reached out for some recommendations for nearby grocery stores. We would love to stay again if we have another occasion and a place if available.
Great house on a quiet street close to campus and Hendricks park. There is plenty of room to spread out. We would definitely stay here again. We had an opportunity to meet the owners and they were kind and informative.
We loved our stay. The house was much bigger than we expected and it was great to have so many rooms and bathrooms for our family. We loved being able to walk to UO and to a number of food options.
Guess what??? First ever VRBO that didn't require us to do dishes, take out trash, pull sheet or towels, start a load, etc. It has always been a point of contention with me... paying the exorbitant cleaning fee and then having "chores" to do before leaving. Thank you, Peter. Much respect.
The house is a 15 min walk to Hayward Field and just steps from Hendricks Park. The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and a short walk to restaurants. Pete was very responsive to our questions. We enjoyed out stay.
Great part of town! Walking distance to campus, coffee and good food. This spacious, historic home is on a beautiful, quiet street. The home itself is quirky and outdated. Bed was comfortable, but bedding/pillows and furniture could use some updating.
Amenities!!*poorly appointed kitchen*hand soap not available at every sink*The hand soap in the primary bathroom was a tiny nub of a soap bar! Gross*VERY dated and threadbare*front sitting room is virtually unusable as it’s hardly furnished
Recently stayed at the Columbia House for Eugene Marathon weekend, and it was the *perfect* spot. Our 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids in total) had plenty of room, everything we wanted to do was walkable, and the property has a ton of charm. Great story behind the house, steps from Hayward Field, easy walk to Autzen for the Spring Game. To top it off, Pete was flexible and gracious and a joy to chat with. Thank you, Pete!
This charming historic home is located close to UO and great neighborhood dining, including Prince Pucklers. The home has some features from its original era with the push button light switches. The bathrooms are nice, especially the guest bathroom upstairs. The beds were fine. My girls said the house reminded them of going to grandma’s house, especially with all the board games and puzzles in the closet of the queen bed room. Note, this is a pet-friendly home. We were originally going to bring our golden retriever but decided, last minute, to leave her home with the pet-sitter. The park across the street would have been nice to take her to play.
