The property was super cute! Very clean and well decorated. The only thing that I would change is the fact that the toilet paper was prison quality. Everything else was fantastic!

We rented this home for a birthday getaway. We were extremely pleased! Very cozy home with lots of space for guests. The sleeping situations were perfect; 4 very spacious beds in separate bedrooms! We were extremely pleased with our stay!

The house was spacious for our group of 6. Very clean. Close to town could walk which was great. Only 20 min from Starved Rock. The house is right next to railroad tracks. Train came by around 4am both nights we stayed. Would have liked more dishes, utensils, a hairdryer etc but we made it work. Understanding host. We had a great time. Thank you.

This was the perfect retreat for a mini girl's weekend. We were really close to downtown Ottawa and when we weren't out enjoying the local winery and restaurants, we were relaxing in one of the cleanest homes we've ever rented. Kitchen had pots, pans, plates, etc. for eating in and bathrooms were fully stocked. The host always got back to us in a timely manner and I can't say enough how great this rental was.

REVISED: The house was new or newly renovated. It was also clean with no foul odors. The location was within walking distance to downtown Ottawa. A Full size W@lm@rt, other grocery stores and restaurants are within a few minutes drive. Be aware it is also located right next to a railroad track with trains coming a couple times a night. The beds were comfortable. Appliances were new and in working order. Easy check-in and check out. No weird rules or requests. Things that could use some TLC: landscaping : the grass was a little long and overgrown near the house. A few flowers around would add to the curb appeal. The garage was a nice addition however it's also used as storage and could have been blown out. There was a Keurig coffee maker which we don't prefer so we went to W@lm@rt and bought a French press. I would recommend at least having a coffee maker, in addition to the Keurig. We went to a VRBO the night before and it had both a fresh bag of coffee and Keurig choices. (they also had a handwritten personalized note of appreciation with a gift pack of six Gingerale and some Kentucky chocolate candy bars! Very considerate and cool touch, but I digress). The kitchen could have more dishes, cups, etc. especially since it is a four bedroom house. Some of the doors didn't function well. It would've been nice to have curtains on the back door and in the back bathroom for privacy sake. Overall, very nice accommodations and good location.

Really appreciated the stay. I lead a traveling Bible College Tour group, and we needed an affordable stay for a mixed group.This house provided more than enough room to appropriately house 6 adults. Our team is made up of myself, my wife, our 14-month-old daughter, a young lady, and three young men.This was nicer than some of our other stays for sure!
