This is the perfect setting along the river for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was the perfect layout for hosting as well as the property. The outdoor seating areas are amazing. We loved our stay both at this property and in Wimberley!

The Wonderland home was everything we expected. Spacious, clean and very well stocked. We loved hanging out on the screened in porch playing board games after dinner. Jennifer was excellent with communication when we had a question.Gary

Our stay was very enjoyable and a memorable one for our family. Everyone said it was one of the best we had stayed. Just very serene and peaceful, great views. The house is beautifully decorated and everything was convenient. The river was flowing and the kids really enjoyed playing in it. We would recommend this to anyone with a family, we had elderly and children as young as 4 and up to teenage age. Everyone had a blast. And the hostess is very communicative and helpful.

This was our first time back to the Blanco in over 10 years and this house did not disappoint. First class all the way. Everything was well thought out and the location on the river was perfect. The communication with our host was excellent too. Highly recommend!!

By far the best vacation home we have stayed in. The decor is stunning and the fully stocked chef’s kitchen was a pleasure to cook in. So many areas for everyone to spread out in. Especially enjoyed morning coffee on the upstairs deck watching the deer and taking in the beautiful views. Grandkids loved wading in the river which was a short walk. Wimberly is such a pretty town. Made some great memories for our family. Thanks to the host for creating such a special place!

We had our 2nd girls trip at this home. It’s absolutely fabulous. We had a great trip. Lots of laughs and quality time. I spend a lot of timeOn the screen in back porch. Took my pup. She is a country girl and loves loves loves the country. I can’t wait to return !!

Overall, our stay was acceptable. However, we ran into several issues in the “garage apartment” that detracted from our stay. We communicated these issues with the property manager but received disappointing responses. As a result, I cannot offer a recommendation for staying on this property.

This property was amazing! The house was beautiful with tons of seating, places to sleep, and fully stocked with basic amenities. We loved sitting in the chairs on the balcony with cozy blankets and watching the river. Close to so many great shops and restaurants, it still felt cozy and quiet. We loved the mix of rustic and modern, and walking down to the river to hear the sounds. Bathrobes were a top tier amenity! The dog from a neighboring house came to play and was super friendly, and having a dog (we didn’t have one with us) would be easy at this property. We are all looking at good weekends to return with our families or maybe even a group of families together. Thank you to the host who checked in frequently to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed!

Beautiful and peaceful location. Our family was celebrating our daughter’s graduation from Texas State. We had half the number of guests we’d anticipated but regardless whether the number was 13 vs 7 that actually stayed it still would provided ample space for a larger group to spread out with everyone having privacy—from the outdoor patios both up and downstairs and screened porch the home was just gorgeous and perfect in every way. The kitchen and dining area were spacious as well and enabled everyone to visit while enjoying meals together. The place is beautifully decorated and kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils. Cooking oil and some spices were nice to have. Very clean throughout too. The only issue that really wasn’t a big deal because the large freezer had an ice maker is that the small Kitchen Aid Ice machine stopped making ice and was flashing a light that said it needed cleaning and filter replaced. We would love to stay again when our son graduates in a few years. Thank you for a wonderful stay for a special family reunion and celebration.

Hands down one of the best VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in. The home is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, impeccably clean, and truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts were very responsive easy to communicate with and the property is meticulously maintained, with exceptional attention to detail throughout. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
