If you're looking for a perfect condo for your family, you've found it at Station One!

Enjoy a convenient first-floor location for your Outer Banks vacation. Just two short blocks from the beach access, this lovely 2 bedroom/2 bath vacation condo definitely has plenty of charm and charisma!

As you enter the cheerful living room, you will love the comfy coordinating sofas - one which is a sleeper sofa - with plenty of tables for your drinks and snacks! You can enjoy a movie together or your favorite TV show on the 65-inch flat screen TV. Or just take this opportunity to spend some time together as a family as you create wonderful new vacation memories!

The cozy dining area has a wood table and chairs for 4. Additional family members can join in on mealtime at the two stools at the breakfast bar. A step-saver kitchen has everything you need to create a simple meal or a snack. And of course, the most important thing - a microwave for popcorn for the movies!!

The En Suite features a Queen bed and the second bedroom has a Duo bunk. A second full bath in the hall offers additional privacy and convenience. A sleeper sofa is located in the living room.

Craving a late-night burger? Station One is a less than 5-minute walk to the local favorite, Jack Brown's Beer and Burger Joint. If Thai food is more your style, Thai Room is just a short walk away as well. Located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills, Station One is conveniently located to many other restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores. You'll also be in close proximity to the Wright Brothers Memorial.

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The place is very clean and kitchen had all we need. The provided extra dry cleaned towels and sheets. The hard wood flops throughout were easy to sweep the sand.

The condo location was perfect- 1 block from the beach. My only complaints was that the floor was sandy when we checked in and the bathrooms didn’t look like they had been cleaned. It wasn’t anything we couldn’t clean ourselves but just disappointed with how it was when we arrives.

2 star rating for cleanliness...no dust pan & the vacuum did not pick up sand and dirt well. The stand up shower is way too small for the average adult. Overall more pros than cons: LOVED the location!!! Beach access, a beach store, ice cream shop, & great restaurants are a short walk away. We had more than enough linens & the management company provided paper products, detergent, and kitchen wipes, which was unexpected and a nice touch.

The property is further from the beach than the pictures show. The property next to it was very interesting someone overdosed and cops and DEA agents were there. Let’s say the property was great but next door was a little seedy.

Great location but very worn down

You can't beat the location of this condo for its price. Yes, you can get an actual ocean front spot, but it will be much more expensive. The space was quite comfortable for 4-6 people since it has a pull out bed in the living room. You may even fit an extra 7th person since there is a bunk bed in one of the rooms. I would not stay at this specific location again though. There was a leak coming from the roof in the hallway, and when maintenance came to "help" they said "does it bother you?". They ended up not fixing the leak (thankfully it wasn't leaking consistently, just enough for us to notice). The place is very run down, it's time for an upgrade! I would have rather spent an extra 100$ a night for an upgraded spot without leaks.

Not what we expected

We arrived to find 2 bags of dirty linens left by the cleaning staff. Were only provided 2 standard rolls of toilet paper for 4 adults during our 1 week stay. We requested more and received 2 more rolls 24 hrs later. There was not a hair dryer or an iron and ironing board. The central air worked but not in the bedrooms so it was a bit warm sleeping. The condo had tile floor throughout but was cracked in several places and grout kept coming out of the joints. The location was close to restaurants, shops and the beach however there were no beach chairs or umbrellas provided.

The property was in a great location, within walking distance from the beach. Unfortunately, it did smell like cigarette smoke and did look like there was a leak in the ceiling that they very roughly patched by just drilling a piece of drywall to the ceiling. Also I wish I had brought my own frying pan as they only had small ones.
