The beach view and balcony are awesome. The unit overall is wonderful. Had a little trouble getting the code for the door on the first check-in day but that was taken care of well by the owner host. I can't say anything negative about the unit. Gulf shores plantation resort as a whole could use more areas of shade at pools and Hot tubs. That's my only complaint. It was very peaceful and quiet as I went right after spring break.

Really wish they would enforce the rules of not leaving things on the beach at night. So many tents and beach stuff left out on beach made it look very trashy at times. Waking up to look at sun coming up and all you can see in front of resort are left over tents, chairs, floats and umbrellas that the other guest would leave out their entire stay. Some I think were left by guests that were long gone and just frame was left and the tent cover gone. The condo was nice and plenty room for us. We have stayed at the resort in this building 5 times over the years and always enjoy ourselves.
