Charming Cottage 2 Living 5 Beds by AustinGetaways

Gorgeous 1 story, 1850 square foot home - completely remodeled in 2016 with new furniture.

The home has an updated kitchen complete with granite, stainless steel appliances, glass tile backsplash, and tile flooring. There are original 2" oak hardwood floors throughout most of the home, as well as ceiling fans in the living room and each bedroom. The bathrooms have updated marble counters, glass tile, tile floors, faucets, fixtures, lights, etc... There is also a second living area with a pull out daybed creating 2 twin beds, flat screen tv, desk, wifi, and more. The home has 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, and 2 twin beds. There is a front loading washer/dryer in the laundry room under the carport, as well as a covered backyard patio with seating and a grill, and fenced yard!

We have high speed internet, and streaming TV services are provided with Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN. Guests are welcome to use their own streaming services as well.

The home is located within a few blocks of the intersection of Burnet Rd & 2222 - close to so much! If you don't feel like cooking the home is a short walk to great Austin food. BBQ, home cooking, and a neighborhood deli are all nearby. The home is ideally situated near the Crestview Rail station which takes you downtown, as well as bus lines running throughout Austin.

Maximum occupancy is 6 adults, or 8 people total.

Fantastic house!

Stayed for two months while renovating house. Location was excellent on a quiet street in Brentwood/Crestview. House was perfect; 3 bedrooms, great kitchen and family spaces and a nice yard. Owners were super communicative and helpful. Highly recommend for short stay or a long one like ours. This was awesome.

Great stay for our family

The house offered exactly what our family of four (2 small children) required. Large rooms, carpeted bonus room for extra play space, large enough layout to not feel as if we always had to just be relegated to one area of the house the entire time. Great, central Austin location for getting acclimated to the city. Was nice to get to know the friendly neighbors as well.

Plenty of room

We were a party of 6 adults and had plenty of room to spread out. Having a living room and a family room made it easy for everyone to have some space. The back bedroom (the one I would consider the master bedroom) has two beds. The bathroom is not adjoined but is right outside the door. The other two bedrooms are good size and they share a nice bathroom. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is large and well stocked with everyday items and what you would need for cooking. It was really nice having the washer and dryer available. The house is in a nice neighborhood and within 15-20 minutes of many things to do. We visited during Hurricane Harvey and had no problem with flooding in this area. We would definitely stay here again.

I had a great stay at this location. Greg, the property owner was very responsive. I did not have any issue that he was not prompt to help fix. We stayed here over a year due to my mission in the military and I'm glad we were able to find this place, it was perfect for the family.

Great space to gather with family!

Very nice atmosphere in a great neighborhood. Quiet setting. Easy check in, especially with the coded locked doors. Back yard/ porch is nice, though still under development. Needs a few more chairs. Plenty of rooms and tv's in each room. We will be back!

It was perfect for us!

This house is great for family members of different ages. It has two bedrooms and a bathroom located down a hall with a front living space. In the back portion of the house is another bedroom and another living space (with a daybed) and a bathroom. The common areas of kitchen and dining room are in between. Two of us were in the front bedrooms and another family member and two children in the back. The house is centrally located with a Central Market, an HEB, and a Half-Price Books within easy driving distance. There are numerous cafes and restaurants nearby to choose from if one would rather eat out. The neighborhood is older and quiet and we felt very safe there. The kitchen is well equipped and the furnishings, beds, and bathrooms are comfortable. Wednesday evening I went to take the trash and recycling containers to the curb for collection on Thursday and found that a kind person had already done that for us. Thank you to whomever it was! Greg at Allendale Rentals is very responsive. We all agreed that the time we spent online viewing vacation properties was well worth it because this property was perfect for us.

Went down for the weekend for Austin City Limits. Property was nice and clean. Had most useful tools in the kitchen one might need. Pretty nice beds as well! Easy keypad entry instead of having to pick up keys from management (we checked in extra late so nice bonus). Nothing to complain about.

Convenient, Quiet, Relaxing

After a long hectic 4th of July weekend it was nice to ride down to Austin with some friends to unwind. The neighborhood was as quiet as expected the grocery stores were within reach and a quick ride down Lamar put us on 6th St. Greg was very accessible and quickly answered any questions we had would definitely look to rent from them in the future.
