About the host
Hosted by James Harker

We are excited to welcome you to Rainier's Rest, our beautiful retreat in the shadow of Mt. Rainier. We live in the Vancouver, Washington area and have been coming to Mt. Rainier and White Pass for 7 years.
Why they chose this property
Packwood is an amazing little town. It is situated perfectly between Goat Rocks and Mt. Rainier wilderness areas with an excellent ski hill (White Pass) just 15 miles to the east. The Cowlitz River flows through the community in its wild and untamed natural state. There is a herd of elk who have made Packwood their home and add to the magic!
What makes this property unique
There is no short term rental that will get your closer to the southeast entrance to Mt. Rainier or to White Pass. At the same time it is in a quiet neighborhood and on a county road that is maintained all winter. Sitting on the deck, nearly on top of Coal Creek, after a long day will soothe any aches or pains :)
