The Elkstone was created for those seeking a serene retreat in the heart of the Northwoods! The property and setting sets a magical tone from the moment guests arrive, and the completely renovated home with both luxury and modern comfort in equal measure.

The oversized kitchen with a 15' custom dining table island, invites groups of guests to spend time together delicious meals or entertainment. The huge stone fireplace and living room create a warm and cozy lodge setting with modern conveniences like the wall-mounted smart TV and central air and heat, guests can truly relax and unwind in style.

The well-appointed and designed bedrooms offer a private refuge with plush beds and extra blankets with the inclusion of a smart TV in each bedroom.

Wonderful and responsive hosts. The cabin was as beautiful as in the pictures. Everything was dialed in and working, no problems whatsoever. You will not regret choosing this cottage or these hosts.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the Elkstone. The cabin itself is beautiful - very clean and comfortable for 2 families. We encountered next to no hiccups, but when needed, the owner was very quick to respond to email. The location of the cabin is great - close enough to but far enough from Eagle River. The setting is lovely - very private and serene. We rented a pontoon boat from the Maple View Resort - about a mile away - which guaranteed us access to Pioneer Lake. To get to the lake from the dock of the cabin was a long kayak/canoe trip (about 45 minutes at least - depending on who is doing the paddling!). We really enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub! Would highly recommend this property!

Everything was Wonderful. Went for a snowmobiling trip. The layout of the house was spectacular. Hot tub was a fabulous bonus! Contact with the owner was flawless. Would definitely stay here again!!
