Get away weekend
Most of our family met up for a weekend and we chose this location. The house was very clean and well organized. The deck by the river was great. The location was easy to get to and overall, we had a great time. We hope to be able to visit here again. Thanks

Exceeded Our Expectations
Quality of the hillside deck cascading down to the Wisconsin River provided a variety of seating and lounging. Excellent layout allowed us to put many items in the high quality shelving - mud room. Every room delighted us with the Northwoods decor. Complete comfort, real quality furnishings, super clean and generous supplies in the kitchen, garage, and fire pit. It was Very private and quiet. My family was happy I found this cabin.

LOVELY cabin in the woods!
We LOVED our stay at the River House! Everything was as described, the kitchen was stocked with essentials like baggies, dishwashing soap, napkins, etc. There was plenty of toilet paper for the week. We have stayed at a place where the previously mentioned did not happen, which is why I think it is worth mentioning! My only recommendtion would be to get a ladder for the dock to be able to get in and out of the river, unless it was there and we just missed it! HIGHLY recommend this home and it's owners! Would rent again!

I have been coming to Conover for the past 30 years. My husband's grandfather purchased land on Upper Buckatobon Lake and have been there for about 75 years.
Both my husband and I are graduates of UW-Whitewater. He graduated with a double major in General business and Finance and I graduated with an education degree in Communicative Disorders. Currently we are both business owners He runs Remy Battery Company while I conduct my business on line through the use of eCommerce sites. We both enjoy traveling, but don't always have the time.

Why they chose this property

We wanted to share this property because we feel it has amenities that people would enjoy i.e. close proximity to trails, river, and local area bars and restaurants.

What makes this property unique

Even though this is a two bedroom place, the house is very spacious. Quiet River frontage for canoeing kayaking or other paddle sports, near ATV and Snowmobile trails. It's close enough to our family, yet far enough for private time. There is a plethora of lakes in the area to utilize for fishing water sports, and other aquatic endeavors. I love the flea and farmers markets in local communities. Traffic noise is minimal compared to the city.
