Our big family and 2 dogs stayed at this cabin for about 3 days and it was one of the best trips ever! The property had everything we needed and was so clean/beautiful. The lake is not that far of a drive and our dogs will definitely never forget running around the big field with our loved ones. Thank you for the amazing experience!:)

Very spacious and very nice log cabin. Well equipped with everything you need. Didn't explore outdoors. Wish the grass was mowed and exteriors were better taken of. But the house is amazing. Overall had a wonderful stay.

The cabin was perfect and has everything we needed for the 6 of us to have a great stay. Perfect home base for our Notre Dame weekend. Would definitely recommend! Very clean cabin. Responsive host, although we had no issues at all.

Great little hideaway. Clean and beautiful. Nice fall foliage. The indoor fireplace was under maintenance so I didn't get to enjoy that but the outdoor firepit was great. Communication with the owner was very easy despite an AWS outage that caused some complications with check in. Would definitely stay again.

Clean, comfortable place - photos are an accurate representation of what it’s like. Family-operated farm market within easy walking distance was a great surprise. We saw deer and turkeys on the property each morning. Would definitely choose this one again.

Such a beautiful place! Quiet, super clean and modern. The host definitely wants us guests to be comfortable. The wildlife is worth the trip alone! Nights by the fire and stars galore. Would be great autumn trip!

We had a wonderful stay at this private cabin with our 4 kids. It felt very cozy and comfortable, plenty of amenities provided including a huge basket of throw blankets in the living room. We have 2 dogs that we did not bring on this trip but see it would have been easy to have them on our next stay. Thank you to our hosts for thinking of everything to make our stay a memorable one! Kids also loved apple picking right down the lane and the quaint market.

We were looking to escape into nature and enjoy some family time and this property helped us accomplish that goal. It is a spacious property where we could be with together but not crammed on top of one another. The kitchen was well equipped, the showers were hot, and the neighbors quiet. The office space in the loft was very handy as I had to take a Zoom call and the Wifi did not disappoint. We were able to get the Indiana Dunes National Park two days in a row without a difficulty. It poured the morning of our early departure and we were grateful for the garage. The host was also very helpful and communicative, answering a few questions during our stay. My only suggestion for improvement would be a hook or two in the master bedroom with a few hangers so I could hang up a dress or blouse, instead of draping on a chair, but otherwise this property is a true gem.

We had a wonderful weekend with our family in this very spacious and comfortable cabin. The home is clean, welcoming, and has plenty of room to spread out. One thing we noticed is that the cabin is so large that some areas, like the upstairs loft, feel a little underutilized. Adding some extra seating or furnishings there could make the space even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great stay and we’d be happy to come back!"

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was exactly what we were looking for, quiet, isolated, and very spacious. Everything was clean and well cared for, which made it easy to settle in and relax. My husband and I came with our three dogs, and the roomy layout made it comfortable for all of us. One thing to note is that there is a railroad nearby. It didn’t bother us, but those who are light sleepers might notice the trains. Aside from that, the cabin was perfect, peaceful, well-kept, and a great spot for a relaxing getaway.

Jesse was a great host! Quick communication, was very kind, and property was exactly as described! This cabin is beautiful and secluded enough to really enjoy being out of the city, while still being close enough to neighbors and La Porte to be convenient/in civilization. The Cabin was clean, well decorated, and cozy! If you're thinking of booking, do it!! Our group of 8 had an excellent time :)
