The villa was absolutely wonderful and exactly what we were looking for our stay. Karin was very kind and communicative, and she was very supportive of our plans to host a small event there, going so far to give us recommendations for caterers and florists. I definitely want to return to Villa Encanto!

This is the best rental property we've ever stayed in. It is beautiful, designed thoughtfully, and fully appointed from super comfortable beds to a fully stocked kitchen including all kinds of nice glass and stemware to all the cooking equipment you might want/need and serving platters and boards. The courtyard was our favorite place to hang out. The hosts we're thoughtful and attentive throughout ever aspect of booking and our stay. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This home was perfect for our multi-generation family vacation. Something for everyone. I always like to leave a place better than I found it but not possible in this case since our host had really thought of everything a guest might need or want, including fresh flowers and pastries. If I could stay at Karin and Doug's Vrbo every single time we're in town, it would be a DREAM. The property is immaculate. Not a dust bunny in sight and more homey and welcoming than my own home! We got permission from Karin and Doug to host a small Vietnamese wedding tea ceremony at the Vrbo and not only did it accommodate guests so well; it photographed like a dream. Our photographers were in awe because of how gorgeous the home is. Every inch of the property has been decorated with intention and purpose and it's not something you see, it's something you feel. Our beds were immeasurably comfortable and Karin and Doug's hospitality is unmatched. They went out of their way to allow us to see the property twice before renting it and allowed us to have early check in and a late check out to accommodate for our crazy schedules. Our wedding weekend was a huge success in part because of our amazing stay! I can't recommend this place enough!

Our group absolutely loved this place! The detail in the architecture and decor was amazing. It had everything we needed for a successful, fun stay! Amazing Property!

This property is the most amazing gem. It is spacious, clean, impeccably decorated, and really reflects Long Beach. We hosted my mother's celebration of life here and were able to open the large French doors to the outside allowing guests to be outside or inside but feel as though they were still sharing the same space. Wonderful!

Need a special place? THIS IS IT!We rented this villa for a pre-Christmas family celebration; we hadn’t seen many of our family for a long time, so I wanted something exceptional. I wanted a bit of luxury, plenty of space, and unique rooms. We entered and WOW! This rental did not disappoint. Each room is thoughtfully designed & decorated; the kitchen and dining room were not only beautiful but functional. I appreciated the hosts including a Christmas tree and décor as well. We did some cooking; whatever you needed, it was there. Being avid coffee drinkers, the coffee bar was great!The game room was a game-changer! We had three kids who were in seventh heaven! This room was a great place to gather, play, and enjoy each other’s company. Huge kudos to the host – she was professional, responsive, and considerate to all my requests & questions. Karin, THANK YOU!There are not many rentals that I’d say I’d go back to. But for Villa Encanto, I would absolutely consider another visit.

Perfect. Unbelievable, the best VRBO experience, ever!

This amazing property was home base for an 80th surprise birthday celebration. Family came in from three states, eight adults ranging from 24 to 82, and one 11 year-old were all able to each have their own comfy bedroom space (mattresses were amazing), engage in ping pong tournaments and just absorb the beauty of this property indoors or outside with fantastic beach weather. Karin, the wonderful host, thought of everything (seriously, everything) guests need, as this property is perfect for a large group, and yet as an individual, you are thrilled by the little details hidden within each space with adherence to the 1930’s history of the original structure. Look for the exquisite tile detail within each bathroom, a brass fox door pull, and luxurious tapestries throughout the house. The courtyard is perfect for relaxing in the sun, and we played many rounds of corn hole, bocce ball and ping pong, everyday. Karin set us up with a well-stocked coffee bar, and other treats, so no one wanted to leave Villa Encanto to explore the opportunities for dining and shopping all within walking distance. But we did a bit, and were not disappointed (Gusto Bread). Our dog had her own space to explore (and take care of her business ) securely and also loved the courtyard sun. Each room continues to take your breath away with the beauty and uniqueness considered within this home. The photos do not come close to showing how fantastic Villa Encanto really is. Immaculate property, fantastic amenities, gracious and friendly hosts! If you ever have the opportunity to rent this property please do (or find an opportunity!) We rented for a bday celebration and everyone was in awe of the home. It is so tastefully and intentionally decorated. The set up makes it to be the perfect group or event location with plenty of onsite entertainment. It is very spacious inside and out. The beds are extremely comfortable. The location is in a safe and walkable location 3 blocks from the beach. It truly was the perfect place and we hope to be able to come back and continue to enjoy it one day. Thank you Karin & Doug for everything!
