Two bedroom (featuring queen sized beds), two bath home with great ocean views from the living room and 2nd floor master bedroom with private lanai. Public access to the beach right across the street. Wireless internet and cable included. Very quiet location. Spacious and comfortable. Just minutes to trails through the Redwoods. Very nice house to stay in. Kitchen was big, which was nice to have plenty of counter space. Right next to beach access and walk to light house. Owner was very helpful.

It’s was a nice stay. The house was very clean and met our needs as a home base for our exploration of the Redwoods. The TV’s in the bedrooms don’t work. But that wasn’t a deal breaker for us. We’d stay there again!

Great location! Great Property!

Wonderful location right across from the beach access. Views of the ocean from living room and primary bedroom. Easy access to national park trails as that was our primary objective - hiking. Home is spacious and clean!Would stay again if I am ever in the area!

Crescent city retreat

House was bigger than it looks in pictures. Very nice accommodations in good condition. Convenient location right across from beach access, a few blocks from main town but far out enough to be very quiet.

Perfect Place

LOVED everything about this home! Immaculate- welcoming- well stocked- appreciated being able to put the car in the garage. Diana was always quick to answer any questions. Location so close to state parks and also just a short drive to Samuel Boardman Scenic Corridor. Couldn’t ask for anything more except more time to enjoy the vacation.

Quiet Location along the Water

The house is clean and centrally located to the parks. It is away from downtown on a quiet corner. A nice deck to watch the sunset. Enjoy coffee in the morning and cocktails at sunset.

Perfect!

This property was perfect for our stay! Very comfortable and conveniently located for all we wanted to do. The steps to the beach were just across the street. Itstormed and rained while we were there and the house was very snug. My husband loved the garage! Property is only about 10 minutes from a couple different Redwoods locations. Definitely would recommend this place!

Redwoods Vacation

Found home on line and was so excited as the view from the home was awesome. I wasn’t disappointed. Also great location for other things, restaurants, grocery store etc. I did contact Property Manager with a question and she was very prompt to respond. We loved our stay and if ever in the area again we would love to stay again. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

Home Run

After a couple of days here, my wife looked at me and said, "You hit a home run with this one!" And THAT is music to this husband's ears! The property was clean - and even comes with a garage - a definite plus for us! It had all the amenities, a great location - and lovely view - especially from what we called "The Observatory" - the upstairs master bedroom! It was easy to get to the Redwoods - and the beach across the street was great. Sure - some minor inconveniences - but the bed was comfy, the towels thick, and the coffeemaker worked! We'll be back.

You Will LOVE This Vacation Home!

My husband and I recently spent 5 nights/6 days at this lovely home in Crescent City. We traveled up and down the Pacific Coast visiting the redwoods, other towns, hiking and so much more. This house has everything you need and more! You won't be disappointed! In fact, it's a lot bigger than the pictures even show. It was fun to see the Pacific Ocean anytime you wanted either by looking out the windows, standing on the balcony or crossing the street and viola! Shhh...don't tell anyone but you can even see Battery Point Lighthouse while you are taking a shower in the upstairs bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with any appliances you will need or dishes or pots and pans. The laundry room is huge and was so convenient to use. We enjoyed pulling our rental car into the garage every night. I have stayed at a lot of vacation rentals but we have never had the convenience of a garage (with garage door opener.) All you need to bring is your food (including coffee), your clothes and any other personal items and you are set for a great time on the Pacific Ocean. Thank you Diana for making it happen for us!

Clean, Spacious house right on the water.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of space, comfy beds and good furnishings. The kitchen was stand-out in just how well stocked it was with tools for cooking. I rated check-in at only 4 stars as the heater was off when we checked in and it took a while to figure out how to operate the remote - had to dig out a manual rather than there being an instructions note or card near or on the remote. Remote for the downstairs bedroom header had dead batteries so we cannibalized those out of an alarm clock and were fine. It's not clear from the listing that the heat comes from the in-wall units so it was a bit confusing as we saw air registers/vents along the floor in the various rooms so we spent time hunting for a central air controller to get he place warmed up. Clarifying all of this in the welcome instructions email or on in on a welcome sheet left inside would be helpful. There is not a welcome guide upon check-in other than a card with wifi info and stack of maps and pamphlets outlining local attractions. There is a handy check-out guide. The view of the ocean from across the street is nice but at night there is a very bright street lamp right across from the big view windows in the living room that is a bit aggressive. That said, the house is priced well compared to other houses with ocean front views. The steps down to the beach are right there and make it easy to get down to the water.

The property was the perfect home base for a few days enjoying Redwood National park and the Pacific coast. Easy check-in, great communication. The house is older but everything was clean. The kitchen was well stocked to allow us to cook a few simple meals during our stay. We loved being walking distance to several restaurants and beach access just across the street. It was still a bit warm during our stay in September so it was nice to have AC downstairs. There is no AC unit in the upstairs bedroom but the fan provided plenty of cool air. We really enjoyed our stay...thank you!

My family was looking for a home base to stay in for a trip to Redwood NP. Excellent place to stay! Walking distance to restaurants. Grocery store close by. Home was clean and neat. Nice kitchen, good gathering space for a group. Lovely ocean views. We were right across the street from the beach. Neighborhood quiet. Wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Crescent City! The house was the perfect base camp for our daily outings to the Redwoods. Being directly across from the beach made for some truly memorable evenings—watching the sun set while the kids explored the tide pools was a highlight of our trip.The house itself isn’t brand new, but it was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything we needed. The host was friendly and very accommodating, which made our stay even better.We would definitely stay here again in the future!

This is the first time in the many, many times that I have rented a VRBO, it had not been cleaned. The beds had not been made, bathrooms and kitchen not cleaned, carpets not vacuumed. I called the manager and she was able to get the cleaning service to come do it. We, however, had to go find a place to hang out while it was cleaned. We were not able to get in until 7:30, not something a person wants to do after traveling all day! It should be management's responsibility to ensure that places are cleaned, rather than just assuming. The manager was very apologetic and stated she would "comp" our first night stay; instead, we received a check for 100. To review the home overall:Pros: It was very clean after the initial debacle. The location is right across the street from the beach and close to shopping. It is roomy and the kitchen is well-equipped with large and small appliances. The view is decent but not unobstructed. The living room furniture is clean and comfortable. Not major detractors but could be improved:The master bedroom could use a king bed and room-darkening curtains; the streetlights shine in at night. The two frying pans need to be replaced. We could not locate the thermostat to turn up the heat when it was chilly. Also, no idea where the trash cans are.

Great home base for exploring

This home was a great home base for exploring Redwood National Park and seeing the Pacific Ocean. After a long day of hiking we enjoyed coming back to this house and watching the Pacific Ocean just across the street.
