About this property

Barn Luxury Stay w/Jacuzzi Loft

The Old Corn crib on our property has been converted to a beautiful 5 star luxury suite for 2 however we are accommodating an additional 2 with a pull out sleeper sofa. It has a fireplace, jacuzzi for 2, full kitchen with microwave and coffee pot. Plus all handicapped accessible with roll in rain shower.
Fully heated and air conditioned.
This is our second over night facility that is next to the famous tree house here at Historic Hope Glen Farm. It has a grand staircase and vaulted ceilings.
We have a beautiful luxury romantic stay for 2 or 4 situated next to a 550 acre walking, biking, canoe, kayak or fishing lake. It has a full kitchen to cook your own meals, cozy up to the fireplace in the living room or take a hike right next door at the 550 acre park or simply bring your bikes to ride in Cottage Grove Ravine nature park next door. The park boasts of the best cross country skiing trails in the state, all groomed and ready to ski. Or down hill skiing just 20 minutes away at Afton Alps ski resort. Or you can rent a kayak next door for some fun lake excursions right next door. Or just 20 minutes from our door you could be shopping at the world famous Mall of America. We also have 2 golf courses minutes away. River Oaks Golf course or Hastings Municipal Golf Course.
If you are looking for that extra special time with your honey we have partnered with 3 private chefs to fix you a meal in the corn crib. After you book with us we can send you their website and contact information. We have many fine restaurants in the area as well in Famous downtown Hastings, MN or Prescott, Wisconsin both situated on Mississippi River just minutes from our door.

Corn crib turned to honeymoon getaway

Unique facility; loved the farm feel, feeding the goats, and seeing the grape vines; would not have thought to turn a corn crib into a beautiful two-story living area with chandelier, swing, and Jacuzzi inside. Highly recommend!

Excellent communication with the property owners very clean with no hidden surprises. Nice quiet location, which was exactly what we were looking for. Pictures don’t even give it credit to how nice it ia. We loved the porch swing in the loft.

The property was beautiful in the snow, and the cottage itself was super clean and lovely. So spacious, and inviting, with the fireplace and jetted tub. We had a great visit! One thought we had was that robes would have been nice, for use upstairs by the tub.

Quiet cabin with all amenities

It was like finding a perfect remote cabin without having to travel for hours and having modern amenities. Pristine condition. Greatly decorated. If you are going in winter bring your own throw blankets (only thing missing).

This cottage was very special! So lovely and comfortable. The host communicated with us and we felt very welcome.Everything you need was found easily in this little gem. Booking waa simple. Communications from the owner to confirm, provide directions and info were clear, accurate, helpful and appreciated. We were coming during a winter weather warning and the owner even asked if we wanted to postpone. Checkin was contactless, but the owner texted to make sure we made it okay and the property was absolutely a winter wonderland!!! It could not have been more perfect! We will definitely be back!

The Architecture is amazing, we loved it. It has been the Verbo I have stayed in in Minnesota.

The People are wonderful and very accommodating. It’s on a farm where they have weddings in the summer. They even have goats and chickens.

This is the best Vrbo my husband and I have ever stayed at. When we walked in, wonderful music was playing throughout the cottage. It is such a beautiful country charm cottage! Decorated well with little touches, comfortable and very clean. The jacuzzi tub upstairs was amazing! The views are so relaxing. We saw all of the accommodations on the property. I can see why people get married there. We didn’t cook, so I can’t speak about the kitchen too much other than it is beautiful. They did have a wine opener and nice wine glasses. The pictures on Vrbo are as shown but better in person! The suburb is nice and we found a good restaurant. The bed is so comfortable, we slept great! I highly recommend the Corn Crib Cottage Villa. Five stars and more!!

I had the most wonderful stay at this property. I rented it out for my girlfriend's birthday and it is now something she will never forget. We both were in awe at the beauty of the property, the kindness of the owners/workers, and the grounds. We will absolutely be back!

This is the place! What a gorgeous stay on a quiet property away from the hustle and bustle. Hosts were very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed.
