The cabin was quaint and tidy. It has every thing you need. It was right off 28 but you would never know it. The cabin is nestled in a quiet collective area with a fire pit, ping pong etc. Perfect for me and a weekend d get away. I booked this last minute and the host was great and even gave me a late check out which was very much appreciated!

Indoor camping
I cleaned the counters, floors, sinks and shelves before i used any of them or even put my belongings down. The floors were so dirty, we had to wash our feet after walking around inside - we wore our shoes inside for the rest of our stay. I knew we had to bring our own towels to these cabins, so I guessed that the cabins would be a step up from camping. BUT, for the price, I would have expected the cabin to be clean. We were VERY DISAPPOINTED. The motion-sensored lights in the bathroom went out constantly - bad idea - WHO moves around constantly while on the toilet or brushing your teeth???! No light in the kitchenette, leaving it very dark to cook before and after sun light, even with the bedroom light on in this efficiency. Also, I had to cover the windows with towels for privacy. Thankfully we only had 1 hot day because the tiny a/c was not adequate for the very small cabin. The grounds are trashy - old doors, walls, furniture and etc scattered all around the grounds. Initially we thought the cabins would be a romantic change of pace - for same price range I wish we would have stayed at our hotel in Hyannis.

Location chalet
Not for long term stay; it would be tolerable if you go to beach every day and out for all meals
I stayed at two cabins, one for each month.
Check in the first time was chaotic, partly my fault, partly their’s. There were no utensils as advertised, the room was not cleaned appropriately at check in, carpenter ants were my uninvited roomies, I didn’t have hot water for three separate days, my room was not cleaned weekly as promised, their are gaps around the doors allowing for any flying insect to join the ants and one of the two burner stove wasn’t working (made me anxious to use the remaining burner) and a window A/C fitted over your head in bed that did work just noisily.
Onto the second cabin … it was not as clean as it should have been, struggled to even get a change of bed sheets, a TV that had a spatula as one of the legs to balance on top of the bureau, had gaps along the door that invited the flying critters, no utensils as advertised. In this unit, the window A/C unit again over your head in bed and a bit more noisy than the last unit.
Rich tried to respond most of the time with humor and tried to assist and address, but because he was so busy, I didn’t always get follow up. At times, I would ask Rich about something who would refer me to Audrey .. I won’t address my lack of interaction with Audrey except to say even Rich would complain about her responsiveness. I entered all issues into an email where by she refunded me half of August’s charges and ‘terminated’ the remainder of my stay. Needless to say, I was dumbfounded. I did stay as I didn’t want to leave until I made alternate arrangements.
I met Jerry, another manager, early August and he did address most of my concerns at that second cabin. Jerry acknowledged The cabins do need a major over haul.
Again, if you are on the beach or touring all day and dine out, you might tolerate all issues I had. I was working and planned on cooking all my meals.
The cabins have a lot of potential- they’re in need of a remodel. Ours had a musty smell so we left the doors open to get air as often as possible. Other than that no complaints.
Very musty. Needs better airing out or drying. My clothes and personal items adhered the musty smell. It needs a new shower stall as the one that was in our cottage was old. I feel the housekeepers did the best they could with what they had.
Older cabins that could use some fixing up especially for the price but if you are looking for an old-fashion down home stay this fits the bill.

Uncomfortable
The cabin wasn’t very nice, noisy a/c over the bed and squeaky fan made sleep difficult. Shower was moldy. Instructions said we needed to bring all this stuff, linens, coffee pot etc., which wasn’t needed so a very small space was even more cramped. Also, said to bring a sheet or blanket for your dog to sit on the sofa, what sofa? We left a day early.
It was so quiet and relaxing plus centrally located.
Would definitely visit again

Review of Yarmouth Country Cabins
There were 2 issues. I reserved a cabin with 2 beds, but we were given a very small cabin with one bed. We were then moved to another cabin but we had to wait for the cabin to be fully ready. The other issue was that the information we received from VRBO never stated that we needed to bring our own towels so we had to rent towels.
Cute cottage close to everything you need, saltwater air coming in from all sides, beautiful nature all around... just what we needed to relax and unplug. Will definitely be back!
This cabin was great for our week in Cape Cod. Check in and check out we're easy. The location was great to explore the rest of the cape, and we really enjoyed just spending time in the screened-in porch too. It is a cabin, so don't expect a 5-star hotel, but it was a nice, clean place to stay.
