Quiet, well-located home, in the middle of an avocado farm. The cornhole boards were a daily favorite, the hot tub was clean, and the farm animals on the neighboring property added a charming, authentic touch.Communication was excellent throughout our visit. The hosts were responsive as we navigated a Wi-Fi outage and a scheduled power outage, including needing battery-operated fans and power banks to help us stay comfortable.
We had an amazing stay at the pink palace! I think it is worth noting that the pillows are very uncomfortable and the rooms are pretty cramped, however we very much enjoyed our stay and would rebook!
This property was so nice and peaceful like out in the country. We were surrounded by nature and farm animals, yet so close to everything you would need to survive. Beaches were so calm. Brought my family,my grandkids loves it. We relaxed didnt want to come home. I would definitely recommend this property.
We had different family members stay each night for the Avocado Festival weekend and this house worked perfectly. The beds were unusual, the people on the inside had some difficulty getting in and out but the beds were super comfy. We loved the outside spaces but the flies and smells from the adorable sheep, goats, pigs and chickens next door occasionally was unpleasant. The orchards and mountains, with some beautiful views all the way to the ocean were spectacular. The address is somewhat hard to find, directions should say to follow "Welty's" road but it's worth it once everyone is there safe! Everyone enjoyed the Jacuzzi at different times, the kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms had all we needed. It would have been nice to have the ice maker working and there was no hot water in the kitchen sink but we made it work. All in all, we loved it! Thanks, Paul!
We rented the Pink Palace for a girls getaway. We were out exploring Carpinteria, Santa Barbara etc most of the time. The location is pretty convenient to those locations, but you need to be ok with being surrounded by avocado trees, sheep, goats and chickens. The home was relatively clean, but we did have issues with ants and the hot tub had to be drained and refilled because the water was murky. The owner was responsive and helped with both issues, but as someone who doesn’t regularly deal with ants, it was unexpected.
